I am in need of some help from DL vets. We are a 20+ visitor to WDW and will be taking our first trip to DL in 10/07. We are thinking of staying at the GC in a concierge room. One of the more important items would be the pool and pool slide. I have seen may photos and read many positive comments on the DLH pool and slide, but not much on the GC's. My two boys spend many hours at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian pools and slides and I would want something similar. Any photos would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I don't have any pics, but the Grand Californian has, I believe, 3 pools, and the slide at one of them (seen from right next to White Water Snacks) looks like a lot of fun to me. :thumbsup2

I have a few photos, let me see if I can find them. There is basically a plain pool in front, a kiddie pool in the middle about 2 feet deep with a squirting turtle, and a big main pool with the Redwood slide and a smaller kids slide on the other end.

We love the pool there and I have always been of the midset to spend most of my hours in the park. Well when we stay here, I could easily stay at the pool all day! Plus the waiters from WWS walk around and will bring your food and drinks right to you! It's wonderful. I am used to a lot of big pools at the casinos here in Vegas and this one measures right up there.

Have a great trip!

This is my DD on the kiddie slide and the girls on the squirting turtle!
