Grand California

We are a party of 5, 4 adults and 1 child. Staying at the Grand California in April 11. I understand they have rooms with 2 queen Beds and a hide away bed, is that correct? Excited about our trip.....

They have only a certain amount of rooms with daybeds. You have to ask for them and even then your not guaranteed one. If you don't get one of these rooms you will be given a sleeping bag. This is not a joke. We had never heard this before and we stayed at GC last year. We were freaking out when we heard this and called several times trying to make sure this didn't happen to us. All I could think of was how could a deluxe hotel that charges so much money allow this? We called first thing in the morning the day of our stay and talked with a lady who had secured us the right room. All I can say is keep calling. The GC is lovely and the proximity is fantastic. We loved the pools and the hot tub. Hope you have a good time. Feel free to ask if you have anymore questions.

We did get one of those rooms and it made a huge difference for us. The sofa sleeper is not very big. I don't think anyone over the age of 10 at the most would be very comfortable on it. We really enjoyed this room type for our family.
