We are going to the Grand california on Friday, for the first time, and have a view question

We have booked a DTD view and wonder if you can see the fireworks at DL from that view. If not what should we ask for to see the fireworks from our room.

Our second question is do all the rooms have balconies? I love to sit out on the balcony and people watch and we usually stay at the Beach Club Villas and are used to having balconies.

Thanks for any help ou can give

Judy

I have heard you can see the fireworks from some of the Downtown Disney views. If that is important to you make sure to call and have them note it on your reservation and ask again at check in. I have only stayed once and we had a standard view. I asked for the monorail courtyard (instead of looking out over the front of the hotel) and we got our request.
I beleive almost all of the rooms have balconies. If there are some without a balcony then there aren't very many. Thats just from looking around the place.
Have fun.

When we stayed at GC with DTD view, we could see fireworks. Daannzz is right, I would specify that on your reservation just to make sure. I also believe all rooms at GC have balconies.

Have a great time.
