I can’t remember but does my room key become my park ticket?

On the first day of park entry, do they combine your room key and park ticket?

What you might be confusing things with is that you need your room key for EE. The ticket for entry is still separate (and remains separate) as others said, but you also need your room key to get in for EE.

There is NO minimum/maximum stay for EE when you are a guest at any of the three Disney hotels.
Early Entry is for each day of your stay at the hotel. Including arrival and departure days.
Each person staying in the room will be issued a room key.

EE for DCA is generally Sun, Mon, Wed and Fri.
EE for DL is generally Tue, Thur and Sat.

Your park ticket is just that Your Park Ticket.
Your room key is only a room key.
Park tickets and Room Keys are NOT combined. They remain separate.


When you go to the gates each day for EE, the CM will ask to see BOTH your ticket and room key.
If you don't have your room key, the CM will ask you to go back and get it before they can allow you in the park for EE.

Also long ago we had to have a GCH room key to use the side entrance into DCA(had to run back to the room once)
