Might be losing it after all this VDH news but it looks like VGC has been added back to the Add On Points Tool, I do not remember seeing it there before?

It’s a lot easier to sell $230pp if you have VGC @$330pp and AUL at under $200pp.

Think they added it back to have help with sales for VDH. Why pay $310 for VGC when you can buy VDH today at $230.… I’ve spoken to some members in past trips that have no idea about resale or anything but what’s on the DVC website.

You always want a low, a medium, and a high option.

I think there are people who would add on 25 or 50 points and just want the same use year.

Easy way to get leads for DLT. They say they want VGC, you call saying they can't buy there, lay the groundwork why DLT is better, and then close the deal.

A couple months ago, I spoke to DVC via the chat feature and asked about VGC and they told me they don't have any of that but he immediately started in about VDH. I wonder if he'll contact me now that it's going to be available.

I got two emails from my guide today about VDH. I really don't want to tell him I'd rather drive the 15 minutes home than pay to park at DLH, AND pay a transient tax as well.

That’s nice of you to hold back… I think I may have been a little too honest with my guide. I’d rather him know that the chart and these taxes/fees have really killed my excitement for the project. With the bad chart and the extra taxes/fees I’d rather slowly build up more VGC points even if I had to pay 310 a point for them…

Only 12 contracts out there. Actually, I think it's more like 11 when I look closely.

They are really going to go fast now. But I also wonder how many new ones could pop up for people who maybe think this is a good time to get rid of unused contracts.

I didn't think I would regret waiting, as I never pictured myself buying VGC. I most def have regrets now!

I let mine know as well. And to please call if he finds some VGC inventory. The savings are simply not there for me, I'll just continue booking my DLH rooms (which I like much better anyway) for $500/night after tax between VGC stays. And yes, I have a deluxe view room at that rate booked for 2 nights next month to extend a VGC stay and somehow it looks no more expensive than if I committed to 50 years at VDH.

If I get the call on VGC points before you do, I'll be sure to give you a heads up. Still kicking myself for not acting on it last time you posted about it here.
