Hi all. :goodvibes

I read online that this Yacht accomodates 13 people for $400/hr, but I read somewhere else that you could have 18 people for $450/hr.

Can it accomodate more than 13 people? Fingers crossed! :wizard:

I think the info you are seeing is out of date, IIR it's $450/hour for up to 13 people now--plus tip to captain and first mate and any food and beverage you want catered.

I wouldn't want to put more than that on there even if you "could" because you'd have people on each others laps.

Oh, I think 18 would be too many also! I have 14 people so I was hoping to squeeze the extra person in if 13 was the maximum. :goodvibes

We did the Grand 1 cruise back in December 2004 but that was the old yacht. We had it catered for just the three of us, me, DH & DS. Our butler Billy was fabulous. Our captain was Mike and his first mate was MaryAnn. We laughed as those are our names as well. :rotfl: We tipped the Captain, first mate and butler. When wishes started Mike had the yacht float in front of the Poly beach. We had a fabulous time. Below is information that I found on a google search that might be able to help you which includes the information for the new yacht.

Grand 1 yacht sails from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Grand 1, the most luxurious watercraft at Walt Disney World Resort, offers a VIP boating experience on the waters of Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake just outside Magic Kingdom. A personal captain and deckhand launch the 52-foot Sea Ray yacht from the marina at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Guests can book morning, afternoon or evening excursions, each of which offer spectacular views of Walt Disney World Resort, including the Magic Kingdom, Disney's Wedding Pavilion and several Walt Disney World resorts. On select nights, guests can view "Wishes," above Magic Kingdom from the boat deck, or the dining and salon areas that feature panoramic, wrap-around windows. For the ultimate cruise, private-dining staff can whip up an evening snack or gourmet five-course meal with wine pairings. A private butler can also cater to guests' every need. Up to 18 guests can sail for $450 per hour plus tax. Dining service and butler are available for additional fees. Reservations for Grand 1 can be made by calling 407/WDW-PLAY.

We were on it during our Thanksgiving stay & I took some pics and posted them on the GF thread.

It is a new yacht as of a few months ago & it is amazing. It blows the other one out of the water. Now I just need another big exciting occasion to book it haha.

Enjoy,

Lives4Disney :)

We did it a few weeks ago...and you can put up to 18 people...17 if you use the butler service.
