Gran Destino or Riviera

...On the negative side, the tower itself does not have a dedicated pool -- the Coronado Springs main pool is a short walk via a bridge across the lake. In contrast, Riviera has a main pool, a leisure/quiet pool and a children's splash pad immediately adjacent to the rooms. Coronado Springs is also dependent on bus transport to the theme parks whilst Riviera will have access to gondola transport to Epcot and Hollywood Studios...

The Dig Site pool is really just 2-minute footbridge walk across the lake from the tower. The buses to Epcot and DHS are pretty fast as well (5-10 minutes) since CSR is nearly right next to DHS. The throughput on the Skyliner might not be more than a wash in terms of travel time.

I’d do riviera, smaller footprint and more transportation options. While staying in a suite would be nice, don’t think we’d be in our rooms much. If I was gonna do grand destino it would be for a standard room to save the money.

The new footbridge at CSR really is a game-changer for access. And the new dining.

The suite will be bigger than the unit at Riviera.
