OMG I LOVED O-town!!!!!! Seriously, I have almost every episode of Making the Band that they were on recorded on VHS. When Ashley did that reality show, I watched every episode. Ugh, LOVED them. HAHA

HAHA. Much better...made me laugh since Jonas has a song called Much Better basically trashing her. Sorry, but I thought that was funny. I agree she did not deserve it over Beyonce or Black Eyed Peas. Or even Lady Gaga, who can actually sing.



Really? I completely expected it. She's won album/record of the year at every awards show this year.

I didn't expect it. She's still fairly a newcomer and Lady GaGa has been hailed some great new artist and I thought she'd have a better shot than Taylor, even though she too is a newcomer. And there are the ones that have been around for years (all the others).

I think simple songs with not a ton of fancy background won out. Fearless is a good album that will stand the test of time.

Good night all! I should probably go start this 6 page paper that's due tomorrow. She assigned it Friday, along with watching an hour long video and doing a worksheet on it, right after saying that she has a life and doesn't really want to take us to a play (that SHE wanted to go to) on a Friday night. Nevermind the fact that I have 4 other classes, a job, and other commitments. My poor dog was neglected all weekend between work and all the homework I had.

Ok so I saw this post and got really excited. I didn't see a post about O-Town so I frantically went looking back for it. Oh how I LOVE O-Town. I follow Erik, Ashley and Jacob on twitter! I was JUST listening to These Are The Days! You guys are my new best friends. My 14 year old self would be very offended by the Erik comment! He was my favorite. I was always tempted to go up to the Bronx (I'm in Brooklyn) to try to find where he lived. (I was a major creeper) And now back to my rocking out to I Showed Her. They were seriously underrated, I Showed Her is a GREAT song; boyband or not. (We are REALLY cool! )

My 14 year old self would be very offended by the Erik comment! He was my favorite. I was always tempted to go up to the Bronx (I'm in Brooklyn) to try to find where he lived. (I was a major creeper) And now back to my rocking out to I Showed Her. They were seriously underrated, I Showed Her is a GREAT song; boyband or not. (We are REALLY cool! )

And now I gotta pull out my Otown CDs tomorrow. You all are a bad influence on me. They only have tomorrow though (usually my moods last for like a week) since Nick Jonas' cd comes out Tuesday.

All I can say is the guy who invented DVR should get a Nobel prize. We started watching at 9:00 and caught up to live TV pretty quick! DMB -not my thing. Taylor did not sound good but I like her so I'm glad she won. I was disappointed they didn't show the hard rock or metal categories, and once again not many alternative acts were shown or nominated. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I keep hoping those artists will be recognized eventually.

I love The Killers, an alternative band. I'm disappointed they didn't win when they were nominated for Hot Fuss and one song off of Sam's Town but they weren't even nominated for their latest. Whatever. It's life but is disappointed that rap/sung type stuff is nominated over that.

Is it just me or is Taylor Swift singing flat? and I do normally really like her.

taylor sounded awful on that first song, started off all-quavering and the song (which I guess she WROTE) is TOO low for her.

Stevie could sing her off the stage even though she's at least twice her age (if not THREE times), the lady sounds good.

I love all the songs on Fearless.... I am a Taylor Swift fan.... that live performance was AWFUL. I'm sorry but Taylors sweet little girl voice does NOT belong next to Stevie Nicks sultry notes.... Rhiannon was NOT a good song for Taylor.... every time she tried to hit that note on the word "stay" she fell hopelessly flat..... My god I thought..... I CAN SING LIKE THAT..... and even her own song was lacking.... I was very disappointed. I guess it's true that not everyone can sing live............. makes me appreciate Jackson Browne even more.......

I'm afraid you are right.... I immediately thought of the thread that was on here a couple of months ago..... I thought, "Wow, I owe that thread an apology...."

BTW- I still love Fearless.... she sounds good on the album... just not live....
