loved seeing MJ's kids on stage, and lionel richie introducing the tribute, but the tribute itself was disappointing. the grammys could and have done much better. IMHO, michael jackson deserves more than a single song tribute by 5 people.

I agree, one song wasn't enough. He deserves more than that. The kids did a great job.

I actually heard somewhere it was the children's idea to come and accept the award for their father since he was originally supposed to perform.

Honestly I am not so sure he would have but I think they did a great job and he would have been proud of them. I hope his family doesn't make a habit of putting them in front of the world that way because that's not what their father wanted.

I never thought of that, but I do agree. It seems like all of a sudden they are all over the place. You see them going to church (or temple?), going to the park, going to school. Not long after he died, they were on TMZ every day for probably a week and it was all "MJ's kids going to the zoo" or "MJ's kids playing with their cousins", not necessarily about him dying.

Jon Bon Jovi has aged so well. He has always come across as a very nice guy too.

I think he looks so much better now than he did in the big hair days. Plus I like the newer music. I was not a fan at all in the "hair" days

I agree! He singing is so much more classical then Mary's. It would have been better if it was Andrea and Celine, like The Prayer. That would have been nice.
