Thanks for the good wishes everyone. The day went wonderfully, despite my blister on the bottom of my toe (long story). The first graduation went on FOREVER and we nearly didn't have time to eat before the second one, but my parents snuck out early (which, while a little sad, was necessary, my name wasn't being called or anything!) to go get our food. We inhaled our lunch at my apartment where we met another huge group of family and friends and drove over to my smaller ceremony, which was absolutely fantastic. Short, to the point, and just nice. I got some lovely gifts, including an absolutely gorgeous picture blown up from my beach trip with DBF and his sister and her family...It was us on the beach and it was crystal clear, framed and matted just perfectly. I adore it. I was thankful to have so many of my family and friends there with me, if only for a part of the day for some of them. All in all I couldn't imagine a better day!
On a side, note, some P & PD please for DBF (and my) little nephew, Nicholas...He's 17 months old and managed to get 1st and 2nd degree burns on his hand this morning on the lawnmower...He's been to the doctor and should be fine, but has to go back in on Monday to be checked to see if he needs plastic surgery on his index finger to ensure mobility. Thanks!!
