I can't believe the title of tie thread. DD will be graduating high school next year which means a Disney trip for our family!

Sneering if anyone else has done a graduation trip and what fun extra things you planned for your graduate? We've gone to Disney every year for the last 15 yrs but I want this trip to be special for her! Ideas?!?

We went last June a few days after my dd's graduation from high school. We bought her the grad mouse ears from the Disney store in March. I would suggest getting them early b/c they sometimes sell out. She had a lot of fun wearing them around the parks and you can get a name embroidered on them once you get there.

My DD graduated in June 2011 & we did a graduation trip for her.

We let let her bring her best friend & choose the resort (she chose BCV. I knew she would!)

I booked the Epcot Segway tour for them & also booked one special ADR that just the two of them could do together.

I created special Disney "Graduation Trip Bags" for each girl.
In them I included:

1) the Graduation mouseears w/ their names embroidered on them
2) the WDW 2011 Grad pins
3) 2 different sets of matching Disney graduation shirts for them (the DISigners here on the DIS created those)
4) the WDW 2011 Mickey Graduation keychains
5) the WDW 2011 Mickey Graduation frames

**I'd had a friend who had gone to WDW over spring break that year & she picked up all that Wonderful graduation stuff for me (including getting the names embroidered on the ears for me)!

Nowadays highschoolers are all about social media and sharing their experiences in instagram/snapchat/twitter fashion. So I would say get fun props like mentioned above so she can take pictures and share them. And buy a frame while you're there for a picture of your family to mark the occassion. People never print pictures anymore, but when you have something real in your hand to look at it makes it more memorable to look back on.
