Graduation mickey ears

I know i am a little early. But ok im on the Disboards with all kinds of planners. So im not alone
We are going down to WDW the day after our daughter graduates from high school. She knows we are going and has mentioned that she wanted to get some graduation mickey ears once we get to The World. Well me ( being the awesome mom that I am) would like to get these early and present it to her as a little gift right after she walks. I would love to get a picture of her in the gown with a mickey eared cap....
So my question is... How early do they start selling these hats, and is it gonna be availabe on the dsiney store website?

I started seeing them around early May so they can get the college crowd as well.

I saw some last year around the end of April.
I got one for my daughter when she graduated from elementery (gr. 9). We had a graduation party for her and also picked a stuffed Minnie in a cap & gown

Makes for a gr8 gift and photos. She loved it!

They had them on sale and all around the parks in early May, so I'm sure that they should have them by Grad Nights, which in WDW and Disneyland occur around late April.

I'm so glad you asked this. I went back to school an will be graduating in May and I need one for myself at my college graduation. At my school, we're permitted to wear hats indicating our major or passion. Would I be able to buy the hat and or pin online anywhere and have it shipped to me for graduation or only when I get to WDW? I would love it!

Yes,I bought a set of Ears for my niece at disneyworld.com last year.

You can have it personalized with your name,but NOT the name of your school,etc.

Just shoot disneyworld.com an email and I'm sure they can give you an idea when they will be available.

They should be available in plenty of time for your Graduation.

DD graduated college last May and we did a mother/daughter Disney trip in June. They have wonderful graduation ears!! I'd love to send a pic but DD doesn't like her picture "out there"... The ears were so fun. Whenever she wore them to a park it got high five's and stimulated lots of conversations with wonderful people.

I complete my Associate's Degree in Nursing in May and we're leaving for Disney to celebrate 4 days later. I'd love to remove my mortarboard directly after the ceremony and replace it with Mickey graduation ears

My sister picked up one for each of us in the world in early May. She got them at the Hat Shop on Main Street.

My DD will be graduating this June. I'm taking her on a mother/daughter trip as her graduation gift, but we're going in April to beat the heat. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I might be able to get her some graduation ears in early April.

I was at WDW last week and they still had 2010 graduation mickey ears out. I went in mid-March of '08 & '09, and they had the graduation ears for that year already out at that time, so they should definitely be out by April/May.

I was there yesterday and the day before and on one of those days, I believe I saw them in Magic Kingdom. It was definitely the Class of 2011 ears.

Not on Disneystore.com yet. But I asked when I went in December (since I saw the 2010 ears) and they said that the ears should be available starting in April.

A bit annoying since everything for 2011 was already out, and finding any 2010 picture frames was hard!

Too bad for all the January graduates!

In 2010, they had two types....the grad ears in your link but also grad ears with a bigger mortar (spell?) which we liked a lot better. I did a quick search but could not find them.
