my twin sons graduated last year. This year alot of their friends are graduating this year. These are kids who have been at my house almost every day while growing up. I'd like to give them each something special for graduation but not too expensive as there are close to ten of them. Does anybody have any good ideas? I was weepy when my boys graduated. I think this graduation will be even worst in a way. It really will be the end of all the things of childhood.

I have no good ideas. I liked the picture frame idea but when DD graduated 2 years ago she got so many they don't all have pictures in them. I got her a charm for her charm bracelet and would like to get something permanent like that for DS this year but have no ideas.

What about $10.00 gift cards to Starbucks or some other food place?

Or an iTunes gift card??

DD graduated 2 years ago and quite frankly, her favorite gifts were gift cards and cash.

I know they'd like gift cards of cash but they'll be getting plenty of that. I'd like to give them something personal that they can take to their dorms with them. I could take a picture of all of them together on graduation day and then put them in frames. That's if it is possible to get them all in a picture together.

Are you crafty? I know that DD and her roommates in her apartment all have these big message boards - the cork type with a simple wood frame - they added colorful borders around the frame with ribbon, scraps of material, etc. They use them as photo montages/frames. The boards hold lots of photos.

Maybe you could personalize each board and then add 1 or 2 photos to get them started.

maybe stuff for college like
laptop?
or a blanket where they put yer picture on it as a kid or something do you know what I'm talking about?

Here are some ideas:
popcorn bowl, bag of popcorn and some popcorn spices
towel with their name on it
blanket with their name on it
a food you always make when they come over such as cookies
a mini scrapbook with them throughout the years
a plant in a nice pot that they could watch grow throughout the year
take them all away for a cheap weekend such as camping or to the beach
photo album with pictures from the past and a disposible camera for future pictures
Coin from graduation year
Personalized Desk Accessories
gift basket with littles things they will need at university - Band-Aids, stamps, tacks, post-it notes, flip flops for the showers, soap, junk food, pens, toothbrush, tissues.
