Graduation Celebration, DISNEY style!!!

All right, we're home, time to get this ball rolling!!!! So, those who know me, know I'm a disney nut. My bestest buddy in the whole wide world graduated from College, with her Bachelors degree, in what is confusing, I just know she mostly studied Accounting. Them College things confuse me!! So....here is the graduate of Honor....this trip was all about her, but I got about a million pictures of her 7 year old son, I just ATE him up!!!

The others in the group are her kids, her son Haden, who is 7, and is just a HAM in front of the camera!!!

Her 15 year old daughter, whom I have known since she was 4!!! Man, that's showing my age!!!!!

My 13 year old Step daughter Sami

My Dh Chris, who just turned 40 I might add!!! LOL

And Me....Mrs. Tour Guide!!! HAHA

We stayed in the pirate rooms at CBR, and they were really good!! I liked CBR, even tho it wasn't our first choice. We arrived on Sunday the 27th, and went to the pool first thing after unpacking.

Next up, our first night of dinner at Kona Cafe!!!

So....day one, we get the car all packed, both of them LOL And head over to check into CBR. Haden didn't know about any part of the trip, so he rode with me, and had him reading the signs. He was cute, on the way there, he saw the palm trees and decided to proclaim we were going to Hawaii!! So, we get on property, he reads the signs, and lights up like fireworks. After a couple of minutes, from the back seat I hear "so are we gonna see Mickey Mouse?" Anyways, We Get checked in, unpacked, and put on our bathing suits to get a good swim in before dinner. Headed to the quiet pool in Trinidad South, and it was awesome. Love places with quiet pools!!!!! So, while we were drying off, I took this

He's just so photogenic!! We all get showers, and head to the bus stop to go to dinner, and we're all starving, and excited. First part of the trip for all of us, so we're raring to go! At the bus stop, I got these.

So, we get on the bus for MK, and I get a picture of how DH and Chrissy were almost the whole trip. She acted like the big teenager, and him the big goofball trying to make her laugh. All he had to do was look at her, and she turned away and laughed!!!

So, we get to MK, and go to guest relations to activate our military passes. But....Syl forgot her ID So we could just do our 4. Which is no big deal, we could do it before going in the park the next morning. So, we get on the resort monorail, and I get a few pictures.

Haden thought it was funny to do the "pull my finger" thing the whole trip!!! LOL

So, we get to the Poly, and we're still a little early, and Haden was facinated by the waterfalls.

And we get this one while we're waiting, this is a good one!!

We get our table, and order our Lapu Lapus!!!

Them darn things are WAY too good!!!! We're on the deluxe dining plan, so we order our apps, the kids get chicken noodle soup, Syl gets Sticky wings, Chris gets the potstickers, and I got crab cakes. Only got a picture of the crab cakes.

For dinner, most everyone got steak, Sami got chicken, and I got the shrimp and scallops. It was YUMMY!!!! Dessert, most got the Kona Kone

Chris and I got the cheesecake. I was very bad this trip on taking pictures of food, so forgive me for that. After dinner, we hung around the Poly, and looked in the wyland gallery downstairs.

we went in the store, and Haden grabbed a couple of those plastic Mickey bracelets, put them on, and did this REALLY cute dance. I didn't think of getting a video of it...this time. HAHA That will come into play later. So, we hop back on the monorail, and the bus, head back to CBR, for our first night. Next up, Breakfast at Ohana!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, back to work today, and going to the drs to get a couple of moles and one spot removed. Wish me luck!!! I'll hopefully be okay enough tonight to update the first breakfast. We'll see!!!

Hey!!!! Glad ya made it. I took a few pics, or I should say the KIDS took a few pics throwing a few stuffed animals around. They were nice. Typical hotel room, just different theme. The beds were surprisingly comfortable!!

YAAAAY!!!! Dana's in the house!!! The gang is almost all here!! LOL Yea, her kids do look like her, and the kids were all troopers for the most part. Didn't have any MAJOR meltdowns. Which is good for kids like that!! Now the next trip, if we don't have any with a 1 year old and a 5 year old, that will be amazing!! Next update hopefully coming after dinner and a pill for these twinges in my back!! LOL

Well, time for the first character breakfast update. We all got a good night's sleep, and woke up ready to face the world. Syl and Chris saw a squirrel fall out of a tree, they thought that was kinda funny. Haden was ready to conquer the world, literally!! So, we hop on the bus, again to the MK, this time go straight to the resort monorail, and get to the Poly right when it was time. I had good timing this morning!!!!! So, we get checked in, get our picture taken with the Leis and it turned out pretty good!

Haden kept looking around for Mickey, cause he wanted to give him one of the Mickey silly bands. First that came along was Stitch. So we got pictures, and autographs.

I like this one, looks like she's posing with him, but he was too short for her!! LOL

Then Lilo came around. Again, got autographs, and pictures, she seemed like she was in a hurry, not sure why, but just didn't seem into it.

Then, the main man Mickey!! Haden gave him the silly band, but of course Mickey couldn't keep it, but I did get a picture!!

Last but not least was Pluto. He was funny. I LOVE the look on Haden's face just looking at Pluto!!

I love how he has to sign the books!!

The food was really good, LOVE the Mickey waffles!!! There's some kind of drug they put in those!! HAHA And the juice was awesome. The kids tore it ALL up!!! Including the bread. Haden ate quite a bit, and was just in awe over the characters, and I LOVE that look on kids faces at Disney!!!

Next up...fun with the Leis, and EPCOT!!!!!

LOL I'm a little sore today on these spots on my back, and Tyler doesn't want to take off the band aids so I can clean them, and let them breathe. Big CHICKEN!!! LOL Chris comes home friday, but I don't want to wait that long!!! I'll try to update epcot here soon.

What is it with these boys? They're supposed to be strong for their old moms...especially when dad is not home!! I can't exactly reach them, since they're on my BACK!!! I think I can get the lower one, it's the upper one I'm worried about. And he's gotta help clean them. I think he's afraid of hurting me. Ah well. Sorry, I didn't get to the update tonight, I'm exhausted!!! I go in late tomorrow, so I'll try to update in the morning. Have a good night everyone!

Hey Dana!!! I've been trying too. Planning the early stages of this trip with Chris's niece in May. Can't wait to get a hold of them kids man, gonna spoil them big time!!

Alright, I think this is where I left off.....Ohana breakfast!! So, after breakfast, we hop on the monorail to catch the Epcot one. We get to Epcot, and Syl has to activate her tickets. On the way there, Syl ends up carrying most of the leis, which were the kids' so she gets creative with them.

She puts one in her hair, but it doesn't stay.

This is another one of the good ones of us on the monorail. I usually don't like pictures of myself, but some of these turned out good!!

We get to Epcot, Syl gets the tickets squared away, and we enter into the park. Haden is fascinated with the giant golf ball, and I told him there was a ride inside, so we had to do that first! So, we rode space ship earth, and then Tyler wanted to head to Club Cool to taste the different sodas. Haden really liked the water fountain. So he watched that for a while. Chrissy got suckered into the Beverly, and I stood there and watched!!

So, we head over to Innovations, don't remember which one, but it was the one with the new Sum of all Thrills ride. So, we got in line, and it was pretty neat. Not like the Virtual Space Mtn at Disney Quest, but still neat. We did the weather thing, which was cool too. Then we headed to get a FP for Test Track, and rode Mission Space. I went with the girls on the orange side....and the rest went to the green side. After that we went and rode Test Track, and then went and ate. We ate at the electric umbrella, and it was pretty good. We decided to go to the resort, to change our shoes. I had on my flops, and wanted to put the braces on. So we headed back to CBR. After we got back to Epcot, we went to eat at Coral Reef. After Dinner, we got a FP for Soarin, and rode the land, and Nemo. So, we rode Soarin, they liked that, but I didn't realize Syl didn't like the swinging effect. I felt kinda bad for that one, but she was glad when it was over. Here's some pics at the seas, and after test track, the kids had to get in the bright red camaro, and Syl got in the Malibu, which is what Chris wants!! LOL

Some pics from dinner. it was REALLY cold in Coral reef, I had the Grilled Mahi, and it was REALLY good. Kinda fru fru, but yummy. Desserts were awesome, I had the chocolate wave, Chris had the baileys and jack daniel's mousse, and it was really good.

After dinner, we went to see the jumping water, had to have Haden see that, since he liked the big fountain so much. He was mesmerized!!

After this we headed towards the WS. Spent ALOT of time in the Japan store for Sami. She was like a kid in a candy store!!! We lit up the glow bracelets I brought, Tyler watched the trains in Germany while we watched Illuminations. After that, park was closed, we only got thru HALF of the WS. But that was alright, we were tired!! Headed back for the busses, and the busses were a NIGHTMARE!!! Never had them issues with busses before!! But, we finally got like the 3rd bus, and headed to the room. Then we all CRASHED!!!!

Next up.....Hollywood studios!!!!
