Graduation and Birthday Celebration!

20 days until I head to Disney! I have three days of classes, a week of finals, and a graduation in my way before I can reach Disney World!

Subbing, too. Can.not.wait to hear your reviews. Going July 5th with premium seating. Two nights sold out as of now for premium seating. June 7th and June 21st.

Following! Sounds like fun. You have so much to celebrate--congrats on the graduation.
We tried getting to Disney for Gay Days this year but work conflicts made that impossible (we leave WDW on june 1st). Too bad as it would have been a wonderful way to kick off pride month! Hope you guys have a great time!

Thanks for the sub! I'm excited for Harambe Nights, however I have to admit I am pretty disappointed at one aspect: Disney's site was acting funky the morning Harambe Nights tickets were being offered (the same morning they offered free dining to Disney Visa cardholders). The Premium seating option was not working and whenever I tried to go to the page for Premium seating, it said the page was invalid. This was only hours after the tickets were offered to the public! So by the time I got my tickets, I settled for the General Admission. Super bummed I couldn't get Premium seating, but I'm sure it'll be just as good!

Thank you for the follow! Trying to go during Gay Days has been difficult for us as well: work, classes, summer field studies, etc. It's also annoying because there's never free dining offers, food & wine festivals, or any special events during Gay Days! But hey, at least there's Pride month to enjoy outside of Disney. :)

Since it is my first time that I can legally drink in Disney, I want to try everything I can! I’m a picky person when it comes to liquor, and I can’t have anything with tequila in it. Beer is also out of the question, as my girlfriend and I can’t stand it! So, with those options crossed out, I’ve been making a list of what alcoholic beverages look the best. I’m still in the process of compiling this list, though. Please give me some good options for alcohol, because I have no idea what I'm doing.

You should try a Lemon Drop at Via Napoli. They are delicious! Also, I really like the drink at the China booth (It's called something like Tipsy Ducks in Love.). I actually bought one because my husband dared me to drink one since it looked gross from the description, but it was REALLY GOOD...definitely my favorite drink in the world (and the world has some great drinks)!

Check out this really witty and informative review about drinking around the world. I used it last year, and found it to be really helpful. The writer's suggested "method of training" is hilarious, and the review has TONS of pictures and descriptions of drinks offered in Epcot.

Also, my husband and I LOVE the San Angel Inn. I typically dislike Mexican food, but this is NOTHING like any other Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. In addition to the foods you might find at normal Mexican restaurants, it has many gourmet dishes that are not what Americans think of when they think of Mexican food. My favorite is the Pollo a las Rajas, which is chicken with a creamy cheesy sauce that has onions and red peppers in it. It is served over rice, and it is AWESOME! The atmosphere, near the boat-ride and by the indoor Mexico market is romantic and fun. The blood orange margaritas are also fantastic!

Enjoy your 21st! I'm looking forward to your review of Harambe nights. I have tickets for August 2nd for our 9th anniversary. Can't wait!

Subscribing! You've got a great dining line-up and I'm looking forward to seeing what adult beverages you decide on. Congrats on your graduation and job posting and an early Happy Birthday! You certainly picked a magical place to celebrate! :wizard:

Hubby and I will be back in the World in September, in the meantime I'm feeding my Disney addiction with trip and dining reviews, lol! Really looking forward to yours. :goodvibes

I will definitely try lemon drop and tipsy ducks in love- thanks for the recommendation! And regarding that article, was the method of training to run around in a circle and pour water over your head, stuff like that? If so, I've totally read that before!

Honestly I'd love to try San Angel Inn but my girlfriend once for sick of that kind of food and will never go back to anything that style of food :(

I hope my harambe nights review is informative for you!

Oh my gosh, I've been doing the same thing since I booked my trip in January. 18 more days!

Alcohol

When I first turned 21, I kind of did trial and error with my drinks. I found that I didn't like fruity drinks because they were so sweet and covered up the taste of alcohol and I ended up over indulging. My advice is to just try whatever sounds good! At some of the resort bars, there's pretty decent bartenders that'll help you decide (if you stop by any of those). I found that the drinks at The Gurgling Suitcase (at Old Key West Resort) were GREAT! It's the reason I chose to stay there this time lol.
We will be in Disney from May 26th until June 1st. If we run into you (probably won't happen, but still) I may come up and say hey! :)

Literally the Gurgling Suitcase sounds awesome. That name is hilarious! And yes, if you happen to see me, say hello! Don't know what you look like, otherwise I'd do the same. :)
