Hello, My Name Is Sarah And This Is My First Post On This Website! I Was Just Wondering If Anyone Has Ever Visit Disney For A Graduation Present??? I Was Wondering If DISNEY Did Anything Special, LIKE THEY DO FOR BIRTHDAYS? I Am Visiting During Spring Break, April 1 -8 2006 As A Graduation Gift From My Parents!

Hi:

I am taking my daughter and her friend in October (early graduation present, but I didn't want to take her in June--too HOT!) Anyway, I don't think there is anything that they do special for graduation. But, we are planning to have a blast while we are there anyway.

Hope you have a great time! :Pinkbounc

Im going for a grad present too. I am going down with 7 of my girlfriends Im so excited. A bunch of my friends went this year for their grad but didnt mention it to anyone so they dont know if they do anything special. But if you find out I would love to know

I don't think that they do anything special, but they usually have graduation merchandise. I bought my son a mickey beanie with a graduation hat and robe, holding a scroll that said 2005. It was cute. (He graduated from preschool). I remember going for grad night and they had tons of graduation stuff! Have fun and congrats!

Hey Sarah,

Congratulations!! My graduation present was a trip to WDW. In fact we left a few hours after the ceremony. I had been talking about and planning the trip a year in advance.

We stayed at Pop Century and, when asked by the desk cast member at check-in if we needed anything else my dad replied "Do you do anything for those that have just graduated college?" He (the CM) then revealed that he had graduated the semester before.

A few nights later, after coming in from a day at the parks and Cirque du Soleil that night (another grad present), we returned to our room to find a card with the Pop Century logo on the front. It was lying open on our room table with balloons attached and a picture of the five main characters (Mickey, Minne, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy) in front of the castle with their autographs on the picture. The card also had their autographs on it, with "Congratulations, Kyle" at the top. I also made sure I bought the grad merchandise (the grad mickey that was mentioned before, a grad mickey antenna topper, and other stuff that I'm still paying for.)

But the card and ballons made my trip the more special, as it was personalized and signified a milestone.

You may also want to mention at any restaurant you eat or if you talk to any CM that you are celebrating your graduation. Of course, all of this is dependent upon the people you tell - they may end up not doing anything, but I'd be proud just to tell people about it.

I'm going to WDW in June for my grad. present.......we've been planning this since our last trip. I heard that you can tell CMs that it's your graduation, but that doesn't promise anything. You can also tell Disney when you book your trip and make advanced reservations. Have fun!

Hi guys, it's me again sarah. Thanks everyone for your comments and the congrats! My family and I decided that it would be best if we celebrated my graduation early and go down at christmas for three reasons, my family loves disney at christmas, we are doing the dining plan so if we went for spring break I would gain wEIght ( sb is a week before prom ) and we didn't want to go in june because of the hot weather and my open house. I AM SOOOOO EXCITED! Ok back to the subject- we are staying at por dec 23-29 and when my mom called to book the trip the CM said he would be sure to tell the hotel about the celebration- when I asked my mom what they are going to do she had a grin on her face but would not give me any info! GEESH I HATE SURPRISES! I will be sure to tell you guys if they do anything special! THANKS AGAIN, SARAH!
