Grade A Drink Program

I was wondering if anybody knew if the onsite hotels offered the free drink program for kids that had all A's on their report card. I know they did 2 years ago, but I also know that alot of things have changed since 2003 too. Any information will be helpful. Tycon

I haven't called Loews, but when we went to the HRH 2 years ago, my kids had the code "A++" on their room keys. They could go to any hotel restaurant but the Velvet Bar or the Palm i think. I saved my a ton on drinks. They served them in clear cups with the HRH logo, so we kept them as souvenirs. If you didn't want a soda, you could get a scoop of ice cream. So my kids got a soda, brought it up to the room, and went downstairs and got ice cream. And this was ALL FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!

I was just wondering if it was still around becasue it was a wonderful program!

I'll call Loews and ask. Did you just bring a copy of their last report card? My daughter is an "A" student and it seems like there aren't many reward programs for that anymore. I know she would be thrilled...

We took their report cards, but they never asked to see them.

I just e-mailed the HRH, Loews corporate, and the family concierge at HRH. Hopefully one of them will have the answer. I'll let you know!

what if your child isn't graded yet by "a". but has an excellent report card for a 3rd grader. O for outstanding instead of A's?

I think they would understand. Some schools here in Illiniois (Go Illini) give grades like S for Satisfactory, or P for pass. I do not think it would be a problem. You might have to explain what the grades mean or something. You could also maybe get the school to certify a key for what the grades mean???

My kids got drinks at Emack & Bolio's most of the time because it was failry close to everything, including the ferry dock. But we did use the poolbar alot too. The pool bar was usually alot more crowded than Emack's. The ice cream was only available at Emack's though. I hope this helps!!! I just hope I haven't gotten your hopes up, or mine for that matter!!

But when the drinks are 5 bucks apiece times 6 drinks for each of my 2 kids, it was a great help for costs.

Hello Donna!

Unfortunatley, this program has ended. However, it was a summer program. Though we did not have it last year, you can check closer to summer to see if it will be brought back. A child had to have straight A's for the entire year. I will inform you if anything changes. You and your family are going to have a ROCKIN' time @ the Hard Rock Hotel! See you soon!
