Grad Nights ?

One of the days I'm planning on going to Disneyland is May 11th which I gather is a grad night. Do they put stages ect around the park and if so will the construction be an eyesore? this will be my first ever visit to Disneyland so I'm hoping it will look as it should.

I remember going to WDW during grad nights and they put staging up right in front of the castle

In 2002 and 2004 they did not set up stages. You could not even tell it was grad night except for the park closed a little early. I do remeber a couple of the rides opened a little later the next morning, but I am not sure if that was, because of grad night or not.
