Grad Nights at the beginning of June? Crowds?

I just noticed that 3 of the 4 days we are going to be at Disneyland are Grad Nights! I haven't been there for Grad Nights since they changed to having the kids have an all day park hopper pass. They used to just have the kids come at night and now it has changed to an all day thing. How does that affect the crowds? Is it really crazy? We will be there June 2 - June 6. I am going to the parks June 2, 3, 4 and 5th. Help!

I've been there around that same time and it didn't really seem to make things all that much different compared to the non-grad nite nights on the same trip. None of the grad nite stuff starts until the actual event begins over in DCA (at 10:00 pm usually). During the day, you'll see an increase in teenager groups as the day progresses (as they arrive). Overall, there were probably more teenager groups in both parks, which meant slightly higher crowds at the e-ticket rides (e.g., Space, Indy, etc.), but nothing horrible.

Figment's experience has been my experience as well. Just make sure to be there early so you can get in those e-ticket rides before early afternoon.

I would also spend time in DL in the morning, and as it gets busier maybe hop over to DCA later in the day. Most of the kids hang out in DL during the day since they have to be in DCA from 10p.m. on. They start increasing In numbers as the afternoon goes on.

This is just part of the May-June season. The overall vacation crowds are lower, but you have schools. Not just grads either. You'll see a lot of school groups of varying ages. Eighth graders seemed to be pretty popular around that time. It's not really so bad, and the schools rarely arrive right at opening. The grads will arrive throughout the day, with the party being at night. Just expect some waits and use your FP. It's still going to be less busy than the week of July 4th.
