Grad night closing question

I understand that generally, if you are in line for a ride at closing time you are able to ride the ride. Does the same rule apply on a grad night when you aren't there for grad night?

Interesting question but I doubt it. The buses leave on whatever schedule is in place.

I think the OP is talking about the 'open to the public' closing time (9pm) the evening before the grad night.

To the original question. I don't know, but am interested in the answer also.

Yes, I was wondering as a regular day visitor whether I will be able to get in line for Nemo at like 10 minutes before closing time for grad night if the line is 1 hour long? Or rather, is a grad night closing (to non-grad night visitors) the same as a regular night?

Ooops, my bad, but I do believe they would have the same policy of getting in line up to park closing. They are showing fireworks at 9PM so obviously the park is not closing at 9. I am sure they will do some things different like maybe getting stores closed earlier.

Doesn't the Grad Night start at 12:00 midnight? The 9:00 close is there to get people moving towards the door and give them time to clean before the onslaught of teenagers. I am pretty sure they never kick you out of line for anything at DL. But I could be mistaken.

Yes, it starts at midnight. It is not so much they would kick you out of line - I agree, they would not do that - but cut off those entering the lines maybe 15-60 minutes before closing. And that is what I doubt will happen on grad nights.

I assume since they have done this hundreds of times... they know what they are doing. I am sure they allow for an hour of line time and ride time on the most popular rides.

Kicking their guests out of the park, right before they are willing to part with hundreds of Main Street souvenir dollars is not in the plan.
