Gracies make a Wish pre trip :)

Hello Dis friends, I have been reading tons of threads written by other make a wish families to get some insight on what to expect on our upcoming trip to disneyworld.....Its so nice that this site is here it has helped so much... My fiance and i have two wonderful daughters grace(4) and abby(2). Grace was born with VATER syndrome so she suffers from severe congenital scoliosis which will require her to have two vertebrae removed and spinal fusion when she turns 5, enlarged assending aorta, anterior anus, vesi reflux, and was born with only one kidney. she also had surgery at 18months to have her tethered spinal cord released. Our Trip was schedualed for april 25- may 1st and we actually just had her send off party last night. The business that sponsored graces wish did a amazing job she had a under the sea princess ariel party at their buisness and they invited "30" of our freinds and family members!!!! Amazing!!! So today i called her wish cordinator because the wish volunteers were not at the party so i wasnt sure how we would get the itinerary and she informed me that gktw is booked for the first 3 days of our trip so she said we can either change our dates or stay at a disney resort but then we might miss out on the gktw experience i asked if maybe we can stay at disney the first 3 nights and then change to gktw not ideal but then we can spend a few days at both she said she would get back to me on monday and mentioned the meals are included at gktw so we would probably have to go there to eat the first 3 days if we stay at disney? so now im a little stressed since the dates we have had planned for 2 months are just 19 days away and i still dont know whats going on.... im not very good at letting other people plan things i worry about everything too much.....

I can understand your frustration. I am an overplanner and control freak. We meet with our wish grantors on Monday. I am hoping everything goes smoothly. I have read where many wish families stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge and love it.
