We are staying at POR and our DD7 has a wheat allergy and is on a GF diet. Usually we just grab something and go but that won't be so easy I am seeing. I know she can get GF pancakes and waffles but what about just grabbing a muffin? I am more than willing to go to Babycakes in DTD to get her stuff for the morning but how does their food hold? I notice that most organic stuff gets moldy or hard pretty fast. I don't know if hitting Babycakes everynight is a feasible option. Does anyone know if there is something in the food court or should I bring some stuff for her from home?

Thanks for the help.

I have brought Babycakes home and they were fine for a few days. I put them in the fridge and let them warm up to room temp before eating them. That being said a nice river cruise to Babycakes a couple of evenings might be a nice "break".

As far as grab and go at the resort-they do have fruit.

Thanks...I was planning on ordering bananas from wegoshop but I was hoping for something a bit more substantial. As long as it lasts a few days it will be helpful. Thanks for the info!:goodvibes

My husband has had the Babycakes for about five days before with no problems. He usually brings his own gluten free breakfast items with him for trips (makes his own muffins, cereal, bread, etc)

We bring these with us. My son LOVES them. I'm not gluten free and I love them. Both the strawberry and blueberry are good but the blueberry just smells so amazing you want to dig in. The box of 12 is small. We pack it and my son eats 1 with a banana or grapes (we use garden grocer) for breakfast in the room, and we always keep 2 in the backpack in case he gets hungry before a meal or on a line. My son goes from happy to a sobbing whiney mess in about 30 seconds when he's hungry.
