We had fast food a few days ago, it did not sit well with me. I am begining to dislike fast food.

Okay Alison. I just read about Club 33 and the recent changes as you advised. I did not even know that guests of the member got park tickets. How would I choose who to give those 50 tickets to anyway? We have way more family members than that.

That said, I read new members will likely only be offered platinum memberships for $10,000 a year in annual fees. I wanted it when I read the annual fees were $3600. With the new fee amount, I think we will pass. That is only a few thousand less than the annual tuition at Xander's private school. There is no way I could afford both. I do not even know if we can keep sending him to the school through 8th grade, and I have two kids!

Thanks for the heads up. I will either rescind our membership request or just deny it when they contact us.

Good evening ! its been a long hot day. How is everyone?

Long day here too. Xander had his Spring program today. It was awesome!!!

Went to the last home game of the High Schools season. A route over thier rival. I knew one of the refs and told him later he must of moved to thier town because he made a bad call. He said he knew it was wrong he just signaled the wrong way, and then the center ref signaled the same direction. The center ref said he knew it was wrong too, but saw the line ref's arm going up and pointed the same way. The penalized, home team was complained, and the center ref said , "hey that's what the line ref is saying". In the grand scheme of things it worked out.

I pictured you son a lot younger in my head, so it blew my mind when you said he was in high school. There goes my image of a brunette, lean soccer player of about nine years old. Next, you are going to tell me he is not even a brunette, aren't you?

I am glad everything worked out. The refs making the wrong call always stinks.

I know this is my fifth post in a row, so it just looks like I'm talking to myself and out"lasting" myself, but I just have to say that I have to post over and over again in a row to turn a page. I got one though.

He is still in grade school. We went to the HS game to watch. He is dirty blond still but if like me will have dark hair around 11 or 12.

I would just hang out, if nothing else you can see how long it takes you to get down the list and report back! We sort of saw the writing on the wall and since there was no initiation fee it seemed like good deal. Especially since the concierge lady told us we could get continual upgrades to concierge level. One to find out that as I thought, I knew better than her. DVC the Disney stepchild is not eligible for the upgrade to concierge. She did it that ONE time, but when we called back to upgrade our other stays, she said it wasn't available for DVC. And that she did it for us that one time.

She suggested that in the future if we were staying at off peak times we should book via Club 33 rather than DVC. :confused3 yeah like the $30K we we already invested to NOT have to pay OOP when we stay and the other couple thousand that we pay annually in membership dues are going to make us want to pay $500 a night for free strawberries and cappucino?

So she suggests to stay conceirge during off peak, and DVC during peak times?

I saw that, but go right ahead:rotfl:

I knew you would catch that. Nothing gets by you. :moped:

Everything is right again in my imagination. I can live with dirty blonde, since the brunette I pictured was a light brunette.

Hair getting darker seems pretty normal to me. My hair was white when I was little, and it slowly got darker. I think my natural color (although I cannot be sure, since I have not seen it in a long time) is dirty blonde.

When something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Sorry it did not work out the way you were told. Sounds like DVC is the way to invest my Disney bucks. When you call it the stepchild, I am again torn. I am so fickle, I know.

I agree with you. While concierge service is nice, I would never pay for it. If you are renting a room when you have DVC points, it is almost like paying for the concierge. I did not even see strawberries in the concierge lounge on our last trip, and I do not drink cappucino. The few things we got would never justify the added cost to me.

yeah! Like we would ever pay money to stay at the fricken hotel!!!!!! That's why we bought DVC! So we wouldn't pay $5 freakin hundred dollars a night to stay there! If we can't stay on DVC we won't stupid bookinglady.

....love it....'stupid bookinglady'!!! :rotfl2::lmao:

The lingering affects, give him some deoderizer so he can spray himself.:rotfl:

Might have to try that.:rotfl2:

He will eventually shed the top layer of skin and the all that hair, right?

Eventually

Here's hoping.

Thanks! Our cats are out in the field hunting this morning. I'll probably have a present or two waiting for me tonight.

Morning everyone!

Only 46 more days and I'll be in DisneyWorld! YAY

:thumbsup2

That's what I get for posting just before I pass out from exhaustion....and er adult beverages.

Don't you just love those little "gifts"? When we visited New Zealand we stayed at a B&B that had a three legged cat I named tri'pawd. On our last day or the place he brought us a "Goodbye mouse".
