Well, living in the desert we get used to the heat like that. For someone who isnt it may feel different. Living in Riverside I hated every minute. Your DH looks like he is enjoying himself.

They get up in the 100s there too, but when it does, it's icky and sticky. I would have hated every minute living in Riverside too!

That's what they weather was last weekend when we were there, high 40s and 50s. It just started to get nice as we left.

I've lived in Boston, Saratoga, Northridge and Long Beach. I try to forget that summer in Taft! I've only traveled through Riverside, an abysmal place!

I don't ever plan to go back to Vegas. Except maybe as a pit stop if I go back to explore Zion and Arches National Park.

It doesn't have any appeal for me anymore.

Property management companies come and try to find new vendors for stuff. This is a good thing, as we may be able to locate a new place to rent that is resonable. Not a good day my back went out this morning.

I think he is toughen it out... He can't hear well to begin with.. think morter attack in he army... And not his ear is all stuffed up.. and painful. He is not happy but he is working thru it..

I get terrible sinus headache and ear pain when I fly and Afrin nasal spray and motrin are my best friends. I hope your DH feels better soon. Great pics of the two of you too.

Have you heard of earplanes?? They sell them in the pharmacy at walmart.
They aren't as effective on short hops. But flights at least 2hours it's something.

I've wondered if they worked, thanks for sharing.

I have to tell you that Everytime I wear it people comment on it.. so tonight in the bar a woman comes up to me to tell how beautiful the necklace is and the whole time she is staring at my ****s. Made me smile... As long as I can make someone's day. I am doing good...

Lovely week, family and work drama. I think we're cancelling our Nov DL trip and hopefully we'll reschedule for May 2013 a few days before our Pacific Coast cruise. Carsland will almost be a year old by then.
