Grab a cup of coffee, or whatever & pull up a seat...it's another Last to Post!

I tried, but the phone kept ringing. Texts came in. Everytime I was about to drift off I woke back up. Now I'm just trying to get work done.

That happens. Maybe you can get to bed early tonight?

Did you get a reservation?

I got reservations for Minnie and Friends Breakfast and Cathray Circle. They were not able to book Wine Country Trattpria, because my party size is too large. I called and put it a request for it. They will get back to me in 2-3 days. The cast member suggested I drop the request from 36 to 35 people.

Good morning!

Good afternoon.

Yikes!!!! Are you treating random people you meet on the esplanade or are you actually planning a trip for that many people!!!! :scared1: :faint:

Weird I wonder how that would make a difference.

She said the restaurant usually turns down requests for over 35 people.

I have six full brothers and sisters. DH has one full, four half and three step. He has four parents to my one. Most of our siblings have spouses or partners (since our sisters cannot legally marry their amazing better halves and both of our little brothers are waiting to get married until they are more settled with their fiances). My absentee Mom actually called after years of no contact to tell me she was leaving Disneyland with her husband (whom I've never met) the same day we were arriving. My AMAZING Dad called her to ask her about this, and she said they are no longer taking the trip. Surprise. Surprise. She abandoned my family when I was seven and my little brother was about 8 months old. She does not even know my kids. My husband's mother and step-mother are amazing, so they have two wonderful grandmas anyway.

We have 23 nieces and nephews plus four step neices and nephews. If everyone went, we would have over 50 people just one degree out of our immediate family of four. Our "small" wedding had over 100 people only inviting family (a couple of degrees out) in town and a few friends. Since I still do not have a final number and that was only an estimate, I was able to drop one off. My fear is that I get approved and need to add a couple more and get denied. I have 24 for sure RSVPs right now with three strong maybes.

And I thought it was hard enough booking for 9!

They can actually book up to 12 via phone or email. For parties over 12, they have to send the request directly to the restaurant. Two trips ago at WDW, I was able to book 17 people at Sci Fi with the regular phone agent. It is easier there. Ten of those 17 decided that morning that they did not want to go to HS!! The seven of us that went showed up.

My family is that large believe it or not. I am only treating people who go to one meal for Connor's first birthday. They are on their own for their other meals, hotels, tickets and getting there. That is why I would have a hard time deciding which 50 people to give tickets to if we became Club 33 members.

That's insane, I was reading all about how many relatives you have and it's so unbelieveable coming from where Fran and I are, that we are practically all alone save for my parents and my sister and her family who are practically non existent. We have some relatives on the east coast, but not really anyone.

You are lucky.
