Yes. He has been up most years actually. We usually just stay home and watch TV. My DH has to work almost every New Year's, because it is an all hand on deck holiday for employees. This past New Year's, we went to my FIL's house, because DH lost his job 3 days before that. The year before that, we actually stayed at the Cosmopolitan for the Grand Opening. He was working like 18 hour days and had to pull almost a 24 hour day for that. They gave him a room, so he could rest for a few hours and start fresh. He was making the rounds (including the Cold Play/Jay Z show, which I could not go to as Xander was not 21). Right before midnight, he came up and watched the fireworks with us. It was cool. PS. Even though he does not work there anymore, I still go to the Wicked Spoon buffet. It is that good! The picture or me with my sister and friend was after he no longer worked there.

New Year's Eve is still at least half a year away. You really plan ahead, don't you?

Dick Clark passed away yesterday. I always watched his show on TV, since DH almost always works that night. Ryan Seacrest helps him, but it will not be the same. I never make plans for the night, since I know I will be home watching the kids.

I think I told you we were at the Hilton, but we are really at the Embassy Suites... We are right above the front door... Not much of view. i am not happy about that, but it is what it is.

I really have no idea where we will end up tonight? He does not seem energized enough to get up but I am going to have to get some food and water soon....

Maybe I can talk him into something soon. I was asking the cabby which places he liked the best and he keep giving me chain tourist places...

But I will take to the concierge in a little bit to see maybe where we go that David might be ready to go to..

That sounds right. I've passed one coming from the airport going north on Paradise. I'm just not sure how close to the LVCC I was, but it was up the road past my turn.
