There are AP and FL Res room only codes available though:

AP
9/30/07 - 12/23/07 - The Booking Code is FEX*
Prices for FEX begin at:
$59 for a standard room at a Value Resort
$164 for a studio at a DVC Resort

The FEX offer also includes a Disney Dining Card when you book a minimum 2 night stay within the following dates:
10/21 - 11/3
11/11 - 11/17
12/9 - 12/15
The Dining Card for Value Resort bookings is $20 (Code FFB), Moderate Resorts is $50 (Code FFC), Deluxe Resorts is $75 (Code FFD), DVC Resorts is $100 (Code FFE)

FL Res
Travel 9/30/07 - 12/23/07 - The Booking Code is FEY
Prices for FEY begin at:

$59 for a standard room at a Value Resort
$164 for a studio at a DVC Resort

BTW, just in case you haven't seen them, there are GP packages available now that include October:
Fall Vacation Package Promotion
Discounted Walt Disney World resort packages are available for check-in dates 9/30/07-11/19/07, 11/24/07-11/28/07 and 12/8/07-12/23/07. The package must include at least a minimum stay of 3 nights and at least a 1-Day Magic Your Way ticket. There is very limited availability.

This discount may be applied to a regular Magic Your Way Package or a Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining.

You must book this offer by 9/26/07. It is also bookable in the UK.

Any news on when the GP room only codes will be released?

Well, based on last year, there might not be one - but you just never know with Disney

Last year there was:
Check ins between 10/1/06-12/23/06 Annual Passholder room-only rates became available on 8/16/06, exp 12/23/06
Check ins between 10/1/06-12/23/06 Florida resident room-only rates became available on 8/16/06, exp 12/23/06
Check ins between 10/1/06-12/23/06 package discounts for general public became available on 8/17/06, exp 9/30/06

So you see about the same trend this year, with the AP/FL Res and GP package out now, but no GP room only offer.

Last year this for GP room only was offered later for the last 2 days in October:
Check ins between 10/30/06-12/23/06 "available to anyone" room-only code became available on 9/28/06, exp 10/29/06

So there was only a GP room only offer for October 30 & 31 last year - none for the rest of the month....but that doesn't mean that they won't have something this year if sales are flat, etc. Keep watching and here's hoping for some pixie dust for you!

Wow didn't realise that there was no GP codes for tha majority of October 06.

Happy enough with the rates I have but was hoping so save a few bucks.
