Government worker discount codes for June 08?

Hi all

Firstly, sorry if I shouldn't be posting this here or I am being stupid by asking a question too early - not sure how the discount code things work...!

We've decided to stay in a villa for our 2 week trip next Summer but now I've read the discount codes for Swan and Dolphin this year and read that other country government workers may be eligible for discounts, I thought I'd ask.

When I am likely to be able to find out discount codes or rates for a stay in June / July 2008? We wanted to stay at the Swan or AKL but the prices are just that little bit too much for us (we're upgrading on the flights!).

I work in the UK, full time and on a permanent contract in a government organisation. Would I be eligible for the government discounts mentioned on here and if so, any ideas when they will be published and how I go about booking them?

If we can get one of the amazing discounts on offer, we might well change our minds!!!

Your best bet would be to call the resort directly. The telephone number is 1-407-934-4000. Ask the reservations clerk any questions you have; if you are eligible for the discount, ask what proof you need when you arrive. Here's hoping you get a positive answer.

I just booked at the Dolphin with the teacher rate of $159/nite.
I'm staying thru the 4th of July week.
