This is our first time staying off site this November and can't decide whether to stay at HOJO or FFI.

Fairfield Inn - got a govt rate of $84/night but have to add on $11/day parking. But, closer to the park than HOJO. Rooms have an outside door though.

HOJO - can get a rate right now for $103/night and the rooms have an inside door which I prefer, but further from the park.

Any thoughts? How much further will the HOJO feel after a long day?

Thanks!!!!

Isn't fairfield that one right next to HoJo? Behind Mimi's?
I would say same distance since HoJo is nearer to the road, you have to walk back a bit to get to Fairfield. I think, my memory might be a bit faulty... either way, distance not enough to change my choice in either direction.

Fairfield is a bit closer. I always wish I was staying there when I am making the trek back to hojo. But it's not a huge deal. Those prices are so close I think u will be happy no matter what you choose. I feel like the hojo rooms are quieter and I like having the indoor hallway.

I was just making this exact same choice -- I didn't realize the Fairfield Inn was "motel style". Hojo's it is!

Incidentally Hojos is running a sale for the fall/winter -- stay 3 night, save 20%. Must stay by December 31, 2012.

Thanks! I booked at HOJO and got 2 queen beds in building 1 facing the freeway for $111/night.

I am now wondering if I should upgrade to the side facing Disneyland for $127/night. Wow tough decisions! Anyone stayed there that could weigh in on the value of that upgrade?
