I booked HIFS from 2/11/03 thru 2/21/03 for $132.00 a night for the KID-SUITE. I tried to get the Entertainment rate but was told it was not available. I noticed on their web site a goverment rate of $115.00 a night. I am a goverment employee and I do have I.D. Do I have to be on official business to get this rate? I would love to save $17.00 a night. Thanks for any input.

NO - you do NOT have to be on business....I booked my brother-in-law there for the government rate and he works in the Post Office - his stay went fine....I booked my family at that rate and my husband is in law inforcement...we are going in August.

Have fun!

I am a Pa. state employee and got the goverment rate by just explaining this to registrations over the phone 115.00. I was also told that the entertianment rate was not available. I called two days later and asked again for the entertaiment rate and this time it was available 99.50. My advise to you is keep triing for that rate until the last min. People cancel all the time and you might get lucky. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. The goverment rate did not show up on the web site but I called and they gave it to me. I tried the entertainment rate again but it still not available. I'll keep trying though.
