So I just tweeked ADRs AGAIN and my husband said he's gonna have me committed if I don't stop. We are on the DxDP with a 2 and 3 year old and no PHs. I think we finally have it and I want you to tell me that I do (if you think I don't then you can tell me too :lmao:)

I am assuming you are staying at Poly since your rest day shows Kona for breakfast. Have you considered Ohana for breakfast with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto? It's one of our favorite character breakfasts.

We won't go back to Chef Mickey's. The food was not so good and the characters were so rushed there compared to other character breakfasts we have been to. However, you can't beat who you are meeting there.

Tusker House - our favorite character breakfast!! Akershus - our second favorite character breakfast!!

H&V has really good food for breakfast and your kids will love the characters there. We enjoy Crystal Palace too. Be sure to check in as soon as you get there so you will be seated quickly. The lines get pretty long if you are further back. I know you have the earliest ADR, but if you are behind others checking in that are within 15 minutes or so of their ressie, they will seat them ahead of you. So, check in and then take your pics of the castle. They won't seat anyone until 8:05.

We have never had Le Chef, but have tried the others and love them all. Great choices.

We get to go every 2 years and just got back in early June for our last trip, but I cannot stop planning that next trip. I can't stay of the DIS forums and hunting for pics of food. I love the food at Disney.

Have an awesome trip.

Wish I could tell you how to stop. If you do find a way please share. We are going right after you. Just my dd and me. Am driving everyone including her crazy by changing things. Told her last night was the last time. But I dont know. lol Have fun planning just remember your finaly tweek is the last then is time to enjoy and not think what if.

Thank you for your responses. We are staying at ASMo and I think that I am going to stop reading dining reviews. That should help me from changing my mind again. I was looking at my old plans and realized that I had originally planned 3 TS meals a day :confused3 i gotta stop the :surfweb: and start the  cause we're going to DISNEY!

STOP IT! Seriously, I can't stop myself and dh thinks I'm not but he sure loved all the food we had last May and said it was worth hearing talking about it for months and seeing me changing everything all the time LOL

The only reservations I wouldn't keep would be Chef Mickey. Our 2 last trips there have been less then good, even my triplets don't want to go back. BTW 3 meals a day is not something my family could do. We would be over stuffed and we would roll all over the place as we would be too full. with an early breafast and early dinner, we were just confortable.

Chef Mickey's would be the one I will drop.... We thought that character interaction was fine. Just the food wasn't worth it.

But I know what you mean.... I keep looking at the list of our ADRs and see if I could play around with it. However, I made these ADRs very early 180+10day mark so they are very hard to get and good time frame. But you could always have some doubts!!! :rotfl:

Not to rain on your parade and they are your children, so you will know best; but don't you think this is going to be a lot of sitting down for two little ones?????

I have been to WDW several times and I tried FD one time for our family of 5 and we would never do it again! We prefer to spend our money on a deluxe resort for higher quality and convenience.

I don't know all of your details, but WDW can be exhausting for the little ones and you may get there and find that all of this park time and then dining on top of it is going to be a big waste of money if they are crabby.

Not to add another twist on things, but I would ditch a lot of your dining expectations and spend your money on upgrading your hotel for the convenience of breaks for these little ones.

I speak from experience - I have taken all three of my children when they were little. My youngest DD5 has her 6th trip coming up. There is nothing like heading back to the resort and taking a mid-day break. She has learned how to take naps by the pool, even with all of the excitement and noise around her.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, just an opinion.

you're not raining on my parade. You are right and I know my kids and they will be fine with a sit down breakfast and a sit down dinner. We may not be doing midday breaks since my kids don't usually nap as it is and we are go-go-go people as it is. We want to do Chef Mickeys for our 1st breakfast cause from what I understand it's very Disney and we can just jump on the monorail to Epcot after. What's better than starting out at Disney with breakfast with Mickey. Everyone has so many opinions about ADRs and the different eateries and I think that is why I have gone back and forth so much with my ADRs. There are no room only discounts so upgrading to a deluxe is not an option for us.

CM breakfast is the better of the meals, so don't let them get you down :).

In the end, ask yourself, "Am I happy with these choices right now?"

If yes, then you're good to go no matter what anyone else says. If undecided, have your DH set up a block on the Disney ADR site that you don't know the password to ;). If you're not happy, identify the issue, fix it, then repeat the above.

I agree with the quality of meal at Chef Mickey's however, when it comes to my DS 3 and DS 6, their first choice is Chef Mickey's. Enough said! And we compromise by eating at Le Cellier! Yum!! Everyone's happy, and fat, but happy!

I think your ADR's look great. As to Chef M's...it really is a personal thing. Many people like/love it and many people don't. So try it for yourself and decide. I think if you go into in with low expectations it's hard to be disappointed. For many it is an experience rather than a fine meal.

One thing I want to out out there is that at the ages of 2 and 3 the characters might scare your kids. So don't be disappointed if they don't want to meet & greet the big guys. As moms we tend to build up the whole in our minds and then if it doesn't go as planned it can be a little teary. Just go with the flow. For me, I have some great memories of those not so great experiences.....the year they cried on Santa's lap or the time they hid under the table at CP as Pooh came near.

We are not doing CM this trip. I have gone back and fort with this decission. The only reason we aren't going back is there are so many good places to eat at we decided that we weren't eating any where we have ate before. I agree with you what better way to start or end your trip then eating with Mickey and friends.
