Garage Sale Update..........

Today was our garage sale day. I made $115 for Disney. :woohoo: I was very excited. The sale paid for our MNSSHP tickets, right? :teacher:

We busted on my brother pretty badly. My sister sent him a text and told him that we were selling his old Atari game stuff. Then she told him that mom was looking for his baseball cards and comic books. :lmao::lmao::lmao: It was quite funny. What's not so funny is that years ago he had the Castle Greyskull stuff from He-Man and when he got older they were watching Antique Roadshow and one came on. Well, my bro thought he still had his but........mom threw it away! :scared1:

Anyway, Disney loot was made today so all in all, I'd say it was a good day!

That is great!!! ...paying for MNSSHP, gotta love that, makes it even more magical!!!

I cringe sometimes when I watch Antiques Roadshow and see toys from when we were kids....we were at a show once and I saw the exact dollhouse that I got when I was 7...that brought back a flood of memories:cloud9:

I cringe too sometimes when I watch the show and see things that were in my grandmother's house when we were growing up. Yikes! :scared1:

I have spent the last three hours (yes, I got up before dawn today :sad2:) working on finalizing our trip. I still have a ways to go, but I did make a couple of dining changes. The most important is our anniversary dinner. I've moved it from the Yachtsman to Artist Point. Joe and I have not been there for five years and the rest of the family has never been there so I thought we'd give it a try. That, and it's in our resort so there will not be a rush to get to our Wishes Cruise since we're sailing out of WL.

I'm going to put up a post today with our final itinerary. I still can't believe we're only a little over a month away.........

Here are a few pictures from the street sale. I hauled all my stuff two cities over so that we could participate in the street sale.

Here it is. What I THINK will be our final itinerary!!!

Day of Arrival

Depart from home with these looks on our faces:

DisneySept06018.jpg

:wizard: Arrive MCO around 11:30 a.m.

Go and collect these:

Then go and get this:

DisneyMay2009018.jpg

How strange is it that I don't have one freaking picture of the outside of any of our rental cars. :rolleyes1

We'll then drive here:

DisneySept09Vol1027.jpg

Check in here:

Disney9-05002.jpg

Look like THIS when we get to our room!

DisneyMay2009567.jpg

After we check in we will likely go to Roaring Forks for a snack. After our snack, my plan is to head here:

DisneyNov046.jpg

I really want to get here before Share a Dream because it seems that this will be the only day that we'll be able to see it. I love parades but the rest of the family could take them or leave them. They all humor me though and I love them for it.

After a couple of hours at MK, we plan to go here:

DisneySept09Vol1075.jpg

Yep, DTD for dinner at Earl. Yummmmm, I love Earl. They have the best sandwiches. Thank God we don't have one where we live. It would make Weight Watchers IMPOSSIBLE!

After some shopping at DTD.........

DisneyMay2009583.jpg

DisneyMay2009595.jpg

Then we will go here to meet Liesa!

DisneySept09Vol1241.jpg

We'll meet Liesa and find a great spot to watch this:

DisneySept09Vol21076-1.jpg

DisneySept09Vol21132-1.jpg

So, what do you think of arrival day???

We'll start Day 2 by heading here:

DisneyApril2007488.jpg

We have an ADR at BOMA for breakfast. I sure wish that they had zebra domes on the breakfast buffet. :rolleyes1 If I can talk everyone into it, I'd like to go to the Mara before we leave and get me some.

After breakfast, we plan to head here:

CIMG2754.jpg

For reasons unknown, we never spend a lot of time at DAK. :confused3 I have no clue why. In fact, we usually do KS and ITTBAB. Sometimes FOTLK too. That's it. :scared1: I hope to change that this year. I'd like to see much more of the park this time. My plan is to stay for Jammin' Jungle since I can't even remember the last time I saw that parade.

What are your "must do's" at DAK?

After Jammin' Jungle, we will head out so that we can take a resort break before our dinner.

Dinner tonight will be at:

DisneyApril2007224.jpg

This is my sister's favorite place to eat. She loves it at Fulton's. We like it too, but mostly we go because it's right up there on her "must do" list.

After dinner, I'm hoping to get to meet Liesa for a drink at Jellyrolls. I've never been in there so it will be a first for me.

Looking forward to hearing about everyone's DAK "must do's." :goodvibes

Day 3 will begin with breakfast at Roaring Forks before we try and make rope drop here:

DisneyApril2007088.jpg

DisneySept09Vol2333-1.jpg

Naturally, we will all do a mad dash to:

DisneySept09Vol2339-1.jpg

We'll get FP's for TSMM and the probably get into the line so that we can ride then too.

After TSMM, we'll tackle our must do list....er, my must do list that is... :rolleyes1

Photobucket is being stupid so I will list them here without pictures, in no particular order:

:wizard: Great Movie Ride -- I like it. I know, it's cheesy, but I still like it

:wizard: Voyage of the Little Mermaid

:wizard: Beauty and the Beast

:wizard: Muppets

:wizard: Art of Disney Animation

:wizard: Backlot Tour

:wizard: Shopping, Shopping, Shopping

Joe said that he wants to ride Tower of Terror this year, for the first time. I am not that brave so he'll have to get someone else to ride with him. I also can't do Rockin' Rollercoast. I get motion sickness taking off that fast. I'm not sure if he's going to try it or not. He's pretty daring after his recent surgery.

I'm not happy that One Man's Dream will be closed. That would be on my list too. :sad2:

So, what's on your "must do" list at DHS?

Arrival Day and Day 1 sound great :thumbsup2 Love your reaction pics, you must take some this year. I'll bet ours will be big Cheshire Cat grins from ear to ear :teeth:

Our Must Do's this year at DAK are:

Everest
Kali
KS
FOTLK
Finding Nemo
Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade (never seen it)
Pretty much everything

One thing you should do is go through your Hidden Magic book and see if there is anything you want to look out for at DAK :goodvibes I remember reading that section and seeing lots that I wanted to look out for

Thanks Stefy.

I will definitely go back to my book and check all of my post it tabs that I have in there. :thumbsup2

Day 3 sounds good and great Must Do's :thumbsup2

I am sure your nephew will go on ToT with Joe, you must get a photo of their reaction :)

I don't know if my nephew will want to go on ToT again. :lmao: He was about 5 when he last went on. His Nana was visiting us from Tampa and she came to DHS with us for the day. My nephew talked her into go on ToT. Well, I have to tell you, it was HILARIOUS............. When they got off of the ride, he came running down the street to us and yelled out....."auntie, auntie, I was so scared I think I pooped my pants." :lmao::lmao: OMG, I wanted to die right there! :scared1: His poor Nana. He scared the daylights out of her. She had NO CLUE what the ride was about until they got on. :lmao:

Awww bless, poor nana.

I am sure now he is bigger he might want to go on again and I'll bet that Joe can persuade him.

Plans for Days 1, 2 and 3 sound great. We LOVE Fulton's and wish it were on the dining plan so we could do it every year (it was the first restaurant Mark took me to at DW before we got married so it holds a special place in my heart). If you've never had them, consider getting the King Alaskan Crab Claws -- oh my. :worship:

Joe has ordered them before. He says that they're really good. :goodvibes

Your 3 days of plans sound great. I love the rundown with the picutres :thumbsup2 We didn't spend a lot of time in DHS last year either. Not really by choice, so we cannot wait to go back.

We have to ride ToT, Rock n Rollercoaster and see Voyage of the Lil mermaid, Toy story mania, and I really want to do the art of animation thing. My kids will love that.

I guess I"m particularly interested and excited about DAY 1!! WOOT!! :cool1:

We love the animation academy. It's so much fun. I know that your kids will love it. My niece and nephew had a great time. So far, I've never been in a class that draws Mickey. I so want to draw him once!

Woot! Woot! Me too, me too! :cheer2:
