Gotta love bounceback! 10th ann. & family vaca PTR-9/201o-WE'RE BACK!

ME, I'LL DANCE WITH YOU...:cool1::banana::cool1::banana:

I'm still dancing! :banana::banana:

We did the matchy thing last year when we had our photo session. Now, having said that, we weren't identical....we wore navy and white, I didn't care that it was navy tops and white bottoms or vice versa, but it did look really sharp....I have two of those pictures in our wall unit:lovestruc

I like that idea. Maybe we should just go with the same color scheme......

I think the navy/white would look good or white/khaki. I would just go with a color theme to match (like above post), but not the exact same clothes.

Yep, this is sounding good to me. I was thinking of brown or khaki shorts with a white shirt. Or jean shorts and a white shirt.

A little late but I will dance with you :cool1::banana::dance3:

I like the idea of being matchy for your photos. I think when there is a theme to them they look better than when everyone is mismatched.

YAY! So excited for you! 45 days is so soon!

Maybe you could "match" color families but not go too matchy matchy? For example, last year for our pictures (18 people) we chose 4-5 colors that people could wear. They could choose the shirt, but it had to be one of those colors. Maybe say it needs to be a solid color, and one of three colors-- that way people feel like they have control, but within reason...

I think we're going to go with matching color families. I talked to Joe on the way home today about it. We're thinking that we're going to go with earth tones and add white. So, if someone wanted to wear say white shorts and a brown shirt, or tan shorts and a white shirt..... etc.

What do you think?

We're getting major rain now and I hope to get this poste finished before we lose power. Where we live, we constantly lose power when it storms.

So, I called Disney today about booking our photopass session. I know that everything says that you have to bok only 30 days in advance. I called today, even though it is 45 days and guess what? As of last week, they are now booking sessions through DECEMBER! All of you waiting to book, call NOW! I say that because I could not get my desired time at my desired resort. I got close, so I'm happy but sheesh....how come I didn't know that they were able to book through December! I didn't see anything on the photopass site, etc. I have to say though that I was not checking the DIS regularly either and I bet there is a thread out there. :rolleyes1

So, those of you going in 2010....call now and book!

Glad you could still get something CLOSE to your time you wanted! Thanks for passing on the information- we are still thinking about PP!!

I'm 45 day dancin' today ::yes::::yes::::yes::........... Who wants to dance with me?

:dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer::dancer:

A little late but Woo Hoo :woohoo: :banana: :cool1: :dance3: :yay: :cheer2:

I've still got one dilemma left. That's our photopass session. I have pre-purchased the CD so I'm ready in that respect.

I can book our session 30 days out. I want to book at WL and I want to book on our wedding anniversary. We're not going to a park that day :scared1: and plan to take it easy. By the way people, this is freaking me out, to say the least! :scared1::scared1:

I was thinking that I'd book for after our breakfast at Kona. We've done pictures at the Poly twice now so I am ready to try a different resort. I thought we'd do breakfast and go back and get the session done. That way we'd have all day to do whatever it is that we're going to do before our dinner at Yachtsman and then the Wishes Cruise.

My dilemma: Do I do the matchy-matchy clothes for our pictures? I really, really want to. My thought was white Disney polo shirts and brown shorts. I dunno. I just can't make up my mind here and no one wants to do the matchy-matchy with me. :sad1::sad1:

One of our friends from work is moving to FLA and he will be joining us on the 17th. I am hoping that I can talk the family into a park that day. I just can't see sitting around all day. It will make me nuts!

My cousin will also be there and she's not really done much of Disney aside from a Make A Wish trip with her daughter when she was alive that didn't go so well. :sad2:

I don't know what to do................ HELP!!!!!!!!!

Yay for booking for photo session, as for outfit colours, earthy tones are good and matching is not a bad idea. Otherwise, if you don't want to be too matchy matchy you can always pick colours that compliment each other.

When me and Dave did the Poly he didn't want to match, so I said fine but our colours need to go together. So we ended up choosing these colours and I think it went quite well (sorry if the pics too big).

For WL, you could have browns, whites, dark greens, khaki colours :)

Lovin' your PTR!!!!!! I agree with the earth tones!!!!!

Thanks. :goodvibes

I'm so glad that I picked up the phone yesterday. Who knows what I would have gotten had I waited until 30 days out. :confused3

That's such a cute picture of you and Dave. :flower3: I think we're going to go with the earth tones. The only request that I want to make is that no one wear a pattern. My fear is that we'll have a bunch of patterns and it won't match at all. :guilty:

Thank you :)

Oh yes I agree, no patterns. Plain all the way :teeth:

Great idea. I love the earth tones... nice and simple-- it keeps the focus on the people and not the outfits!

Earth tones is a great idea. A nice change from the typical red shirts that a lot of people wear for family photos (which we've done) - or the white shirts and jeans on the beach look

I just realized that even though I've read your PTR, I don't think I ever commented on it... so here I am!

It really sounds like you're planning an awesome trip!

Did I miss reading where you're having the photo session? I think you got some very good advice on what to wear!

Thank you :)

Good morning, Sophia. I agree with Stefy...NO PATTERNS!

Thanks everyone for the advice! We're definitely doing earth tones, solid colors, no patterns. :goodvibes

Joyciemc - Glad to have you with us! We're having our photo session done at WL this year.

So does this mean Joe can wear his Stud Muffin shirt and I can wear my "Your Village called..their idiot is missing" since both are earth tones? :P Also what are your thoughts about him and I "throwing up the horns" before the picture is taken? That a no-go?
