Gotta second the ice cream cookie sandwich. This is no ordinary ice cream sandwich. They make it in front of you with two large cookies (I get the chocolate chip) and stuff a slab of ice cream an inch thick between them. And it counts as a snack credit.

For off the beaten path I have always tried to go to the CS in Japan up the Hill behind the gardens to get the beef curry. It is just some yummy and not something I can easily get at home.
