Got Visa room-only deal!

My Visa cards finally came today!!! I immediately called and and asked to apply the code to my room-only reservation at the Contemporary Tower! I am so happy!

One funny thing...I called down twice today, once to change a PS and the second time to apply the code. Both times I was put on hold and had exactly the same song from Hunchback.

Is the 7 for 4 deal only for the deluxe resorts? Any info would be appreciated.

It can be used for any resort if there are rooms available.

I have been told that the 7 for 4 is only for NEW Disney Visa card members. (I guess I'm an OLD Disney Visa card member--and after less than 6 months ) Has anyone been able to get this who wasn't "NEW"?

Great news. Funny about the song. Contemporary Tower is so much fun, can't beat the views. Great arcade and the walkway to Magic Kingdom is best way to get there and ride the monorail back.

I have a question~~how long did it take you to get your Disney Visa??? I called and applied for it last week. We are going to Disney in May 9 thru the 15, I'm hoping to get my card soon!!!

I called and changed from AAA rate to Visa room-only and saved $300 at the CSR!! I thought about upgrading to YC or BC, but decided I'd rather save $300 than spend and extra $1000.....Hope I made the right choice!!

I applied for mine on line about 10 days ago....... still waiting... i am pretty sure I was approved because i get alot of paper work in the mail for visa disney pre approved.... i thought on line would be faster... i guess not.... anyone else apply on line?? how long did it take??

I applied on-line and had my card in 9 days. When I changed my reservation, the rep. said I had ten days to make a deposit using my Disney Visa. If you think you are going to get the card within the next 10 days, I would call and make the reservation.

As soon as you know you are approved (call the 800 number and find out) you can ask them to overnight ship you the card. I did that on Monday and had my card on Tuesday. It was free of charge. Booked the 7 for 4 deal at the Poly!

If you applied in Feb or March you can. If you have your card already, call CRO/WDTC and ask them if you are eligible for the Dream Maker 7 for 4 Disney Visa Package. They can tell you if you are or not by calling Bank One.

I called my travel agent and let her handle it all. www.wdwvacations.com I didn't feel like stressing over it. However, you could just call CR and ask them if the deal is available to you for your dates and Resort. Of course, you have to actually have the Disney Visa in your hands at time of booking, they won't let you book it then apply it when it comes.

I have not seen this 7 for 4 deal posted anywhere. Is there somewhere to go and find out more information and specifics?

I don't think there is somewhere (other than here to read about it) People found out about it (i'm assuming here) when they were sent the invitation from Disney Visa to apply for the card. What exactly do you want to know~maybe we can help?

I am wanting to stay at WL in a deluxe/Jr. Suite but was told by a travel agent that the discount does not apply to these rooms.

Also she mentioned nothing about the 7/4 deal, only a basic discount for having the card.

We are limited in where to stay because of having 5 people. The junior suites seemed like they would be the best bet.

Its difficult to find something for a family of 5. WDW really caters to 4 or less.
