Got Vero at 7months

Just booked Vero Beach OVIR for 4 nights before our Wonder cruise Labor Day weekend.

Any suggestions on MUST do while in Vero? I have 2 DS 10/11 at time of our trip. Already hoping to see some Sea Turtles. DS 11 is very into everything about animals.

We spent 3 n at Vero after a week at BCV last August in an OVIR. GREAT ROOM BTW. We slept in (NICE after our long days at the parks where we averaged walking 9 miles a day). We just hung out on the beach & at the pool. Got afternoon storms each day...so we got some free movies & took up to the room. DS 12 played miniature golf & did some of the activities like scavenger hunts. They had races on the pool slide where they timed everyone for the fastest runs. There is not a whole lot going on in Vero. Whole town closes up shop & rolls up the carpet by 9:00 pm. We did not see any turtles...I think they're mostly earlier in the summer (June). It is a beautiful resort but VERY quiet. DH & DS rented a boogie board one day but the waves didn't cooperate (we were there a couple days after 'Bill' & I think the surf was messed up a bit).
