I was so excited!! We were there from the 16th -23rd. All week long, we kept going back by the ride because there was always a cast member standing there, but they kept saying that the opening wasn't until Nov. and soft opening for AP might be this week. Saw strange things happening a few days before the 23rd from the TA. Saw people dressed up in space-like outfits. Then on Saturday, we just happened to walk back by around 1:30 and there were tons of people in line. We waited 30-45 minutes and got to ride!! It was really cute. Only a couple of small glitches - doors opening at wrong time, timing things. Overall, I thought the ride was really cute and kids should love it ::MickeyMo

I got to ride it too. I was disappointed. It was a lot like AE. Not dark as long as AE but a lot of darkness and loud, scary noises. I think it is still too intense for small children but that's just my personal opinion.

OK - whoever doesn't want to be spoiled by what happens in Stitch - Don't Read This!

It was very similar to AE, only Stitch breaks loose instead of the alien - minus the shattering glass. You start off being "hired" as guards in an alien prison. Then you move to the room where they showed the teleportation system in AE. Same robot - only he's a security guard. Scruffy is there in a tube as a prisoner and doesn't get transformed into anything scary. You get an alert that a "level 3" prisoner is coming, so they take you into the teletransportation room and Stitch and teleported into the tube. You sit in the same seats as AE and the harness comes down to hold you in. The room does go dark like in AE when he escapes and that may scare small children. He doesn't try to eat people like the alien - just eats their food. He does spit on you and burps in your face. Much tamer that AE, but could scare little kids if they are afraid of the dark. I give it two thumbs up :p

but I still like AE...

Yes, thanks for the review. I think I may try it, but I'll definitely keep my 6 year old away from it.
