Got to get the needle and thread out!!!

Went shopping with my sister today, she wanted to go around the market which I don't usually do but to keep her happy I had a look around and on a material stall saw some halloween material. I bought some very thin black material with red shiny ghosts and pumpkins on. They had the same in green and white. They had orange material with bats on and some material that shimmered different colours and very thin whispy stuff that would make great spiders web covers over the top of whatever you make. I originally thought of making the lads some capes or shorts but I may just have to pinch it and make a skirt, trouble is I'm not very talented in dressmaking skills!!! Its a year tomorrow we will be going so better get on with it.

You can't thread a needle, I can't post a photo. DH keeps saying he'll do it for me but he's usually not here when I'm dissing!

Good luck, I own one packet of sewing needles, 1 reel of white cotton and 1 reel of black, usually found somewhere in the back of my cupboard so Im with you on the sewing skills

I'm useless too, last night when we were finishing our packing, there was a button missing off Ians shorts. I didn't even have a needle and cotton so had to go to my nans to borrow some !! I am such a domestic goddess, Anthea would be proud LOL
