We had a really hard time finding a reservation for Le Cellier this trip. The best we could do was lunch.... which kind of bummed my DH out because his steak was smaller. The food and the service were still excellent! My DH just wanted more. 
So, he mentioned to our server how hard it was to get a reservation there, and she told us they have actually had quite a few cancellations lately. She was super nice and went to check and see if we could get in for dinner later in the week. She found a 5pm reservation for Father's Day and my DH was estatic! He said it would be a great dinner for Father's Day. She actually had a few other options, but the 5pm worked best for us.
We love Le Cellier and it is on our must do list. I guess it is always a good idea to ask your server and see if there are any cancellations. She was much better than our concierge at our hotel. The concierge wouldn't even take the time to check. She just said, "Oh yeah that is really hard to get. Just keep what you have."
My DH was pretty impressed with our server! And, we got to eat at one of our favorite restaurants twice on our trip. Awesome
