After having Disney take our first 2 attempts at becoming dvc boardwalk owners we are waiting on our third attempt (with international seller) so hopefully it passes. In the meantime we decided we were tired of waiting to become owners so Sunday we bought 230 points direct at Riviera so hopefully we have two homes in a few weeks.

Congrats! Once you pass ROFR and go to close, be sure to give the title company your new membership number from buying direct.

This way, they can go in the same membership…assuming same UY and owners for both!

We have already called the resale company (board sponsor) and gave them our membership number and had to correct our names since direct for some reason but our middle names instead of middle initiAl’s on everything. Board sponsor has been great to communicate with.
thanks to everyone for all the help on questions I have asked over the last couple months. This board is a big help for new people thinking of getting into dvc,,besides wanting to make you buy as fast as you can and buy more points

Easier than getting your Genie + and LL choices!!! Seriously, I have loved staying there. At first I thought it was too "hotel like" but after a couple days we settled in and loved it. Great front desk people.
