Got the stomach flu in Disney??

I very, very rarely get sick. Can't remember the last time I was sick to my stomach, until our trip 2 weeks ago. Out of 6 of us, including a 5 & 7 yo, I was the one to get it. In Epcot everyone had a burger for lunch except me, I had a veggie wrap. But that might not have been the culprit. By dinner I had NO appetite whatsoever (and it was our Le Cellier night  ). Threw up several times that night, ate nothing but an ice cream the following day, sick again next night. Couldn't eat for 5 days. Felt OK, just couldn't eat and VERY tired.
And I'm the one who constantly passes around the hand sanitizer... go figure!
It could have been any number of things, just glad it didn't hold me back. By the way, Pepto costs $4.20 in the resorts for 4 ozs. :scared1:
On the plus side, I actually LOST two pounds on the dining plan!! :cool1:

I have gotten sick one night of our trip last summer, and I think it was the wrap that DH had ordered for himself and decided he didn't want so I kindly gave over my cheeseburger to him so he would not be hungry and I ate his wrap. I never threw up I just spent A LOT of time in the bathroom staring at the wallpaper counting "hidden mickeys"..:rotfl2: (if that isn't tag fairy worthy then I don't know what is...hahaha)

Kids got "hand, foot and mouth disease and the dr. blamed the pools and waterparks at Disney..I dunno if that was really it I just know they got sick the day after we got back home from there.

I have spent many an hour staring at the wallpaper as well. The last 2 times I went, I got sick. Well maybe the not the last 2, but 2 recent times. I was staying at Pop and eating out of the food court. I don't know what happened, but both times, not good. No vomiting, but wishing I could. Just the weird stomach noises that resemble a 747 flying in formation with about 10 others. :rotfl: and some serious riding of the porcelain disney bus, but seriously, I bring food from home now, and limit what I eat in the parks. No meat foods, like hot dogs, burgers, stuff like that, and I didn't have a problem last time. Of course I started drinking alcohol every day at noon, so maybe the alcohol killed off the germs. I should just stick to drinking it, instead of rubbing it on my hands...It seems to work better.
