Got the monster pin, but...

Today I got the monster pincode. However, when I called I was told that I could on apply it to the first day since the other 5 days were blackouts. I thought for some reason that as long as I checked in before the blackout dates that it would apply for the entire stay. I guess I'm incorrect. Any clarification would be helpful. Thanks!

Yes, PINs can only be used on the dates specified in the email. We originally got the 20/30/40 PIN and could only use it for the first two days because the rest of the stay was blacked out. We later got another PIN that covered all our days so they let us switch codes and we're good to go.

Some other discounts (like free dining for the general public) let you get it for the length of stay as long as you checked in before the end date of the promotion but I'm not sure if it's still that way.
