I just ordered my mnsshp tickets so now I just have to decide what we will dress up as. Any ideas?

There are 6 of us...............me and dh and my 4 boys.....4,8,9 and 12.

Would like to do a disney theme. My little one loves peter pan and has a peter pan costume. I guess I could be wendy and dh could be cpt. hook???? the other 3 stooges could be the lost boys or pirates??? The costumes would have to be comfy enough to walk around the park all night.

Anyone have any other ideas?

That would be too cute!!

DD wants to get a new Princess Aurora costume (she grew!) its her favorite, but I have a feeling she may want to bring her Harry Potter cape, and Hogwarts scarf....

DH definately will do Greatful Dead!! :rotfl: (its a whole lotta he's a little bit dead, and I'm a little bit country!!) I may just wear one of his tie dye shirts!!

My mom is keeping her eyes open at the resale shops!! (she may find tshirts for her and my dad that say This IS my costume... or maybe dad will wear his Harley tshirt and leather... :rotfl2: just thinking of my dad :rotfl: he was a plant manager, suit guy, :rotfl: now he's retired, he has a Harley!!)

.... You could make some the cards, have the Queen, King, Mad hatter and March Hair from Alice in Wonderland....

DD8 wants to be Kim Possible. I would love to talk DS10 into being Ron Stoppable (not gonna happen). DH and I could be Mr. and Mrs. Possible. DH thinks we should be Drakken and Shego! OK, maybe. ;) DD1 could be Rufus! :teeth:

Forgot to say, last time I was able to get DS to go as Peter Pan and DD went as Tinkerbelle. TOO CUTE! It will never happen again either. :teeth: I was going to go as Wendy, but I was almost 7 months pregnant and I did NOT want to hear the jokes that would have come with that. :rotfl2:

I like the lost boys idea.

We had a group of five last year and did the Peter Pan theme. Our 7-year-old nephew was Peter, his 13-year-old brother was Smee, DH was Hook and I was Tink. MIL couldn't find anything related that she liked, so she bought a Mrs Potts costume and it was adorable!

DH and I are taking my mother and aunt. We are going as "Captain Red Beard and his Pirate Wenches"--- it should be hilarious!

I have already made our costumes. DH is Zues, I am Meg, DS9 is Hades, DS7 is Hercules and DS2 is Pegasus. They are really cute. I wanted something cool and comfortable. I hear it can be pretty hot in October. Needless to say we won't wear those costumes for Halloween in Vermont. LOL

The boys are going as the Three Musketeers, Ray possibly going as Jack Sparrow, and I have no clue for me. I need something ride friendly but fits with everyone else. I was thinking a pirate, maybe.

I think my family will be going as Mousekateers. I just need to make the costumes now.

We are going as the "Incredibles". My husband will be Mr. Incredible (he agreed as long as he does not have to wear tights), I will be Mrs. Incredible, my DD7 (then) will be Violot, my DS6 (then) will be Dash. We might take my daughers Jack Jack doll with us.

Our clan is going to be BUzz (4 yrs), Woody (2), Jesse (11), Tour guide barbie (8) and I'm going to try to talk my DH into something Zurg-like while I go as Little Bo peep. Our Dbabysitter is going to be Tinkerbell.

Still trying to find my DH's and my costumes. I may try to make little Bo Peeps dress into pants so i can ride the rides comfortably. And no cape on Zurg either.

Add us to what is sure to be a long list of Incredibles familes...DH ad Mr., me as Mrs., DS6 as Dash and DD4 as Violet.

Kathy

DD (8) Jasmine, DS(5) Bellhop from TOT (his idea) and I'm not sure yet for DH and myself.

Does anyone have some good ideas for warm weather costumes? We are going to MNSSHP on the 30th of September and it could still be warm and muggy in the evenings. Store bought polyester cosumes could be too hot for the DSs.
So, I am basically looking for a back up plan in case the first cool front has not yet swept through Florida. BTW my boys are 4 and 7. Thanks
