I actually called for AP discount and they are out for Jan./Feb. Unfortunately, they didn't have AP rooms available at WL for all 7 nights standard, just the first 3. I asked if the GP was available and he checked and said it only went through 12/24. I said I knew someone with a Disney Visa and their paperwork said GP would be available to the public on the 5th. He asked if I could hold and was gone a while. He came back and said I could do that but I had to do the whole 7 nights because it wouldn't let him do the 4 days alone. The next category room available at WL for my day with AP was courtyard so I took GP instead for diff. From AP of $106 + change for the whole 7 nights. Not buying dining though because I would have to buy one day tickets without the AP discount. Happy hunting everyone!

I'm a little confused...what was the AP rate and what were the dates its offered?

AP rates are on the AP section of the website -- Jan. 2- March 8th. Better rate if you book before December 4th.

Thanks! Just curious...are there any black out dates? I have not purchased an AP yet and am debating if it would be worth it or not.

AP rates go through Beginning of March. All room categories are not always available. Nice thing about AP rooms is you don't have to buy any park tickets in order to buy the Dining plan. You don't have to have purchased your AP before booking a room, so if your not sure it will work out for you, you can purchase it later. If your dates or room category isn't available, ask them to check the General Public code that came out today.

I'm not able to log into the ap section of the website I never have been able to so can any one tell me what the rate s for values? I'm hoping to get down to the world for the princess half marathon in feb

Sorry, a bit confussed sis you say your getting WL for $106/night?

I just tried to book and was quoted AP rates much higher than the VISA rate I have booked. Is this possible since the VISA rate for POR was supposedly 30% and the AP is listed on Mousesavers as 35%.:confused3

Look carefully at room category, they will quote you for what's available, not always what you entered.

I can't get into the passholders site so I called. She gave me a higher quote for the same category. POR Feb 2-8 Garden View. I'd be forever grateful if anyone who can get into the site would check this for me. I was just on with tech support and she was no help at all.

I put in your dates but don't know how many people (not sure if that matters or changes the price). Total is $763 for POR Garden View.

February 2-8 garden view POR 2 adults is $763, nothing added.
Maybe she was adding on the vacation insurance?

Since I'm going Nov 26th-Dec 4th and May 5th-13th, I was undecided about going in Feb or not. The AP discounts decided me. The VISA discount had POFQ at a lower percentage off than the other moderates (25% at POFQ compared to 30% at the other moderates), but the AP discount has all moderates at 35% off.:confused3 I checked my numbers before calling, so I'd know what my total should be. I got seven nights at POFQ for $835.90 compared to $1286.00 rack rate, saving $450.00, so 35% off rack.:cool1: Still not quite sure if I'm going, but at least I have something booked if I do decide to go and since it's room only I can cancel within a week of arrival with no penalty and they can just move the money to one of my future trips. Now to make dining reservations.

While pricing different resorts on the AP site, one thing I noticed is that alot of resorts did not have any standard rooms available. None of the three All Stars did, CSR didn't, PORS didn't, and WL didn't. CBR didn't have any rooms available at all in any category. The only moderate that had standard rooms was POFQ, which really surprised me, because it is usually the least discounted resort and sells out the fastest because it's so small.

I called this morning and was able to get Contemporary Tower Feb 17-20th at 40% off!! Yeah!!! :thumbsup2

The first night is Atrium Club level and the others standard - hoping that CL might open up later, if not, we're still gonna have a great time!

We'll be celebrating our 5 year anniversay and both my & DS's birthdays!
