Got the Express Plus pass..

Today in the mail, I received my Express Plus pass ticket. I just want to confirm something...
Does it go through a scanner at each ride? how does it work?
Just curious...also, do I stand in a different queue to use it?
Also, is there any solo rider rides in IOA or US?

The express plus pass, thanks to the people on this fantastic board, is a front of the line access pass you can purchase (if you are not staying in the park) that you can use once for each ride in the park for the day you purchase it for.
I am planning on visiting the park in late August and decided that it would be best to purchase one, since I am not staying in the park. I paid $15 for the pass, including shipping.

The price changes with your dates. The end of August is a slow season, the are more expensive when it is busier.

Oh nevermind. I tried something and it works (surprise). If you go to www.universalstudiosvacation.com and click for tickets only the plug in your days it will bring up a liost of all tix available for those days and this is one of them. for my dates in June it was $26.50.

Wow I checked on thedate of my last post and it was $26 the days we were to be there. I did not get it because I can't pin the date down yet for universal with my friend who may go too. I wish I had bought it then.

A question about the express plus passes...do you have to use the pass for the specific ticket that the pass was bought for? My thought was that if my husband and I bought express plus passes for ourselves that we (possibly?) could use a pass for one of our children instead of for one of us. Or, in other words, are the passes non-transferable? I'm just concerned because the cost of the passes for our dates is $37, and I'd like to save what we can. I'm only trying to get passes for the day we are at IOA, and then we will just try to get the regular express passes early on our UO day for the newer attractions.
