Got the all clear from DH today!

Woo hoo!! DH gave the go ahead today for a trip to the Food and Wine Fest 2014! We are starting to try for children this October, but I have some issues that I fear may make conceiving take longer than expected. So if we do conceive quickly, great! If not, in the midst of the long, possibly disappointing process, I'll have something to look forward to. I've been giddy all day thinking about it.

Be pregnant.

Have a newborn baby.

I can't imagine being able to enjoy F&W Festival either way.

Why not go this year, since you may not want (be able) to next year? You may get pg right away, and have your baby next summer. You never know.

Well, obviously if we do get pregnant right away, we would not be going since we would have a newborn baby, and I would never bring a newborn to Disney. And obviously if I am pregnant, I wouldn't be indulging in the wine part of the f&w fest. (or if I was too far along in the pregnancy). It's more or less something exciting to look forward to incase things don't go as planned. We can't go this year, we already have a trip to New York planned in may and a trip to Dallas in October. I wish we could go this year though!

Good luck! I also had a long process before finally get pregnant so I think a trip to plan and look forward to is great! And either way,which ever comes first it will be fun.

Look at diet issues, find a good doc you trust, relax.
In the end I wasn't successful myself ( hope you are) at pregnancy but the DS I have is the one I was meant to have.
It's hard but you'll get something great whatever path you take.
