got sick at POLY Luau...Disney cared

we went to the Sprit of Aloha show last week, and right after finishing our meal, my DG got very very sick. She turned pale. After figuring out what to do for a few minutes, we decided to return to the hotel and call it a night. Interestingly, on our way out, the manager was standing at the exit, and wondered why we were leaving so quickly. We told him that she had gotten very ill all the sudden after eating dinner. He was very concerned and wanted to summon medical assistance. We told him no, that she will be ok and we just wanted to get back to the hotel. He then offered to let us back into the show another night of our stay because we had left right as the actual show was starting. He gave me his card and told me to call him when we figured out when we could return. Well, I thought about it that night and there was just no flexibility in our schedule to allow another night at the luau, we had dinner plans that we wanted to do the for the rest of the trip that were more important. so i called the CM manager back, and he refunded half our ticket prices ($50 worth).

i just thought it was a very nice gesture by Disney...i guess he was a little nervous that she got sick from the food.

Thanks for sharing that with us. Sometimes it seems like all we hear is the negative side to things. It is great to hear the positive. Did she recover quickly?
