I called 800-828-0228, was on hold only 10 minutes, and got Pop Century for 2/16-2/21 for $61 per night for all nights, even though value season ends on the 19th. I didn't question the CM on that...just took the rate and ran!
We really shouldn't be doing this trip for financial reasons, but you only live once. We're REALLY trying to do this on a budget (yeah right) so we're staying at a value resort for the first time. Next problem will be flights - it is soooo time consuming trying to find the right times at the right price. I guess if we can't get a *fairly* reasonable flight rate we can always cancel the trip - but I dont' want to do that!
The last time we went (2002) I got 4-day hoppers at the Wal-Mart in Kissimee for $199/adult and $161/child. Does anybody know if this is still the best way to go? I know some people join the hotwire savings club, but is that worth it for 4-day hoppers? (I can't look myself on their website without joining).
