Got payment for my damaged bag!

Some of you may remember Fly Be damaged my DH bag on our last trip to Orlando in December. I wrote them numerous letters and made numerous calls but they would not admit liability. The problem was I had never filled out a passenger irregularity report, we did not know we had too!

I managed to get in touch with the dispatcher from VA who found our bag lying on the airfield. She kindly agreed to put this in writing

I forwarded all the documents to my insurance company last week and got a cheque back for 75% of the claim - better than nothing!
