Got our tix today!! Help with newbie touring plan for next week

Hubby and I are going on our honeymoon next week and got a 1 day park-to-park ticket. We will be going next Wednesday (Sept. 5th) IoA is open 9-7 and US is open 9-830. We plan on doing a small lunch in the park then going to Margaritaville and City Walk after the parks close. Hubby definitely wants to do WWoHP. Are we better off doing US or IoA first? I was thinking do IoA first and Harry Potter first thing, then US later. Does everyone else pretty much do the same thing, therefor maybe we should try the other way around?

Since the Studios is open 1.5 hours later than IOA that night, do IOA first to get HP out of the way and then head over to the Studios for the rest of the day.

Do you think everyone else is going to have the same plan though so it would be more crowded? Although, it is two days after labor day so I am hoping the crowds are low enough it won't matter.

I don't think it will matter all that much...crowds will still be low.

Great to hear! Thank you All i want is to give my husband a great first trip. His mother was diagnosed with MS and eventually into a wheel chair, so their vacations have all had to be local to Massachusetts. This is his first time to Florida, Disney, and Universal. Even though it is our honeymoon, this trip is more about him, to me at least.

Aww thank you I really, really hope he enjoys it. He just keeps telling me "he will have a great time because he is with me."

I think he is just trying to get some brownie points before we get there HAHA

I would suggest the same as a PP: go to IOA first then head to US since it is open later. If you're there at park open, I would use this shortcut to get to WWoHP a minute or two before the masses and hop on HP&FJ first thing.

Go to IOA Harry Potter first. We just went on Sunday and the crowds were low (in part I am sure because of the pending hurricane!) and it was really fun to do before it filled up. Plus it is your new husband's priority and if you are anything like me you will worry all day until you go! Then you can relax and enjoy the parks.

haha! Yes originally, since his favorite movie is Jaws, that was what he was so looking forward to. Since it closed, WWoHP moved to the top of the list. I don't care what we do as long as he enjoys himself!
